    • I love this in black, but other colors not at all.

This black version and style is lovely, almost elegant. But I also purchased this in other colors and hated it. Why? Because black blends the waisted piping that is much more evident on the lighter colors and they make it appear more 'dumpy'. It goes to show how color (or the absence of color) can make a huge difference in the overall look of a dress. So I am thrilled with the black, but I returned all of the other colors because they all looked dumpy due to the clearly evident waisted piping that shows the gaping looseness between waist and bust. The pockets are fabulous and a big plus. The material is heavy, not lightweight, so the skirt hangs more straight than most dresses and only flows in a 'turn'. The sleeves are really nice and not too tight around the wrists. Lots of room in the long sleeves that balloon as well due to the elasticized wrists. I enjoy loose dresses, but dumpy is not okay for my church functions. Too casual in the other colors, too. But the black definitely pulls off a touch of elegance. As a blonde, 5' 6" tall, 155 lbs, medium build, 68 years old who still works a farm and throws bales of hay, only the black suits a more mature appearance for the serious church functions. The black is a good choice of this design. Younger ladies might prefer the other colors, but if they are on the large side, big busted, and short then I don't see this style to be flattering. Taller, slender and smaller busted women might pull this off better and not look so unsuited to this style. ... show more

I originally gave this dress a bad review. Ok, not because the dress was poor quality, but when it came out of the washer, it the colors appeared to bleed. Once it dried on the clotheline it was fine. Apparently part of the fabric absorbed less water. I AM NOW THRILLED WITH THIS DRESS and I can order EVERY COLOR! The dress is flattering and soft. I would say it runs slighlty big for a medium, but not so I can't wear it. Just be patient and let it dry thoroughly. ... show more

5’3” 150 lbs and a large fits perfectly. The color is a true rust/burnt orange color. I ordered for a wedding and pleasantly surprised at how great the fit is and how comfortable this dress is. I love it so much I just ordered another color. The sleeves & pockets put this dress over the top!

I love This dress!! It is so soft, the material is on the thicker side so there is a little weight to it. I'm short so it hits near the floor but I will we're a heel or something. I am 4,10 175 lbs got a large size. LOVE Pockets!!!! Love the cuff arms. I will Buy in another color. ❤️❤️❤️
