  • It is zero water.
Style: 10-Cup Pitcher
I've been using Pur for years. Decided to try Zero Water when was just about to orded another Pur pitcher, and I'm staying with Zero Water. Difference in purity and you can taste it immidiately. Also lead removing Pur filter is verry slow in filtering, Zero filters very quickly. The only complaint: the TDS meter that came with the pitcher doesn't work, just tried to use it for the first time, and its not the batteries. ... show more

  • Remove more toxins
Style: 10-Cup Pitcher
I started using this filter 2 years ago because it was the best value for removing everything i want to avoid. The other inexpensive water filters did not remove chlorine and fluoride. This does.

  • 0 ppm filter
Style: 10-Cup Pitcher
Filters to 0 ppm. Only drawbacks are bulky and outlet construction. One has to tilt it almost to 180° to pour water out. Can be difficult for weak, elderly person to do so.

  • It works!!!
Style: 10-Cup Pitcher
We have really gross (but certified safe to drink) well water in our house. The water is off colored and tastes really bad. Even with a water softener the water is gross and we haven't really used it for anything but showers and laundry for the seven years we've lived here. We are a big family (six children, my husband, My mother, myself, and four pets) and we were spending twenty dollars a week on bottled water. I saw this product at a local retailer and decided to take a chance on it. As soon as we got it we cleaned it out as instructed. We tested our well water And were not surprised to find over 400 ppm tds. We tested our store bought bottled water and found 25 ppm tds. We filtered our well water through the zero water filter and were shocked that at came out crystal clear despite being orange tinged going in (we are told that is supposedly from the tannins from the pine trees however our water softener is supposed to remove them but obviously fails to). Put the meter in the water and it is ZERO ppm tds!! Tasted the water and it tastes very similar to desani water! I took off one star because the lid had tiny plastic piece broken off right out of the box so it doesn't clip in all the way closed. Annoying but doesn't change the function of it. I'm skeptical about how long the filter will last since our water is so gross. I will update once I know more about that. Overall I'm a very satisfied customer. We originally bought the ten cup pitcher just to try it with a plan for husband to take it to work (on a military base with PFOAS contamination) and buy a bigger one for home if we are satisfied with the amount of time the filter lasts. UPDATE: it's been just shy of two weeks and the filter is still filtering to ZERO ppm TDS! We were so impressed with this filter's ability to clean our water that we proceeded to buy the bigger 30 cup tank style to live in our fridge permanently. We love it! I was having to fill six or so pitchers of the ten cup pitcher a day, and it is so slow to filter it would really cost a lot of time. So we have filtered over 800 cups of water through our first filter cartridge and it is still reading zero TDS. The tank style is much better because I can add water with a large measuring cup easily whenever we use water, thus providing a non stop supply of delicious, crystal clear, filtered water! Update #2: once adding more salt to our water softener, our TDS sky rocketed in our faucet water. As a result, the filters are only lasting a week or so. It's a trade off, do we stop using the water softener thereby resulting in even more quickly destroyed fixtures, so that the filters will last longer in the pitcher? Ugh!! First world problems! At one filter a week we are still spending less than we did on bottled water, BUT I fear our damage to the environment is greater since these spent filter cartridges are not recyclable but water bottles are. ... show more

  • Stops PM2.5
Style: 10-Cup Pitcher
An ultrasonic humidifier will spike the PM 2.5 particles in your house. Mine went from 0 to 100 in 4 hours. So I filtered the water with the Zero water filter first. After 4 hours of running the humidifier my PM 2.5 particles were at a 1. This is much cheaper than buying distilled water.

  • Great water filter for high levels of hardness.
Style: 10-Cup Pitcher
I initially bought this since my towns water is really hard. I know this as I'm trying to restart my low tech aquarium hobby. This requires some knowledge about your own tap water. When I go about testing my water. My test kit out of the tap is about 375 ppm. It's majority calcium from what I believe since I have quite a bit of calcium build up on my faucets and shower heads. The included TDS reader reads my tap water at 389 ppm. Running the tap water through the filter reduces the hardness down to almost zero; 3 ppm to be exact. My test kit doesn't read that low. This is perfect for my aquarium and for general drinking use. We switched from a Britta filter to Zero water because the water tastes THAT much better. Happy with my purchase. For those who suggest a water softener for the house. I'm told that it's not ideal since my town has a low water pressure rating and adding anything would lower it greatly. I prefer good water pressure for my showers. The only think I can complain about this filter is that the filler cap is really small and I often miss or even over fill causing it to spill over by the pitcher handle. I'd buy another pitcher if they had redesigned this. But for now this will have to do. ... show more

  • Best water filtration filter BUT...
Style: 8-Cup Pitcher
I love the Zero Water Pitcher and my H20 tasted so clean, even better than the water bottles I buy at the store. However, the filter will only last me about 4-5 weeks and I don't drink a lot of water than I should (not a lot at all). Best filtered water I ever tasted though! The first picture is the TDS level @ 417 (in CA) and the second is the TDS level reading @ 000 after filtration. I couldn't believe it until I tested and tried itIf you make your own coffee, this filter will make a difference in the taste. For me, it tasted as if my coffee was smoother, more velvety, and it took away a bit of the bitterness. I really enjoy it! Zero Water just tasted so much better than any other brand I've tried, so I went with it until I find something more economical. Like I mentioned, the filters don't last as long (dependent on how good/bad the tap water is in your area) and they're pricey if you have to keep replacing them every 4-6 weeks, but I was able to get a good deal during Black Friday. So if you find a deal on these filters, buy them. Zero Water filter is supposed to be replaced once it reads a TDS level of 006. I also found a review on YouTube on how to make the filter lasts longer by using the older filter that hits a TDS of 006 to initially filter the tap water out, then putting that water to another pitcher that has the brand new filter. So I'm going to try to filter them twice, and the first filter doesn't necessarily have to be Zero Water brand, then may be it'll be more cost efficient. I'm happy with it though and it's convenient, no more hauling the heavy water to my place and a possibility of hurting my back. I got a few of my friend's to buy Zero Water and their family loves it. I got the 8 cups but if you have more than 2 people living at your house, get the bigger size. ... show more
