  • High quality matierals and very smooth.
Color: Black
I've been looking for a slider for a while now - specifically to take in the outdoors backpacking and kayaking. The small size of this slider was a big plus for me - small footprint and easily fits in even a day pack. I thought maybe the swivel head in the pictures would be included, but it was not - you get the slider, 1/4-20 to 3/8 adapter, the slider, and carrying case. However, the slider pairs beautifully with a good fluid video head. I have the Yuengteng head (which I highly recommend), and it really adds a lot of capability to this slider. I was really impressed with the quality of materials used. The camera plate and frame supports are CNC aluminum in matte black finish. The rods are what appears to be carbon fiber, and the adjustable feet have anti-slide rubber feet with knurled aluminum stops. The camera plate slides on the rods using plastic rollers, which do their job and make a very smooth slide. My biggest issue with the slider is getting your camera on the plate. There is no quick-release plate, and the threads do not have a thumb/screwdirver slot on the back to put it in your camera. This requires you to spin either the entire slider or your camera around to mount it. I have a strap on my camera, so it gets annoying. However, adding your own video head/ release plate makes taking your camera on and off much easier. Though the slide distance is relatively short, you could conceivable get some 16mm rod and make the slider whatever length you could want! Additionally, another modification that would be useful would be adding an automated (servo) pulley system. There are threaded inserts on the end pieces where such a thing could be mounted. Overall, if you're looking for a small camera slider that conveniently packs away, I would definitely recommend this one. It seems robust, smooth, and rigid, and performing the mentioned modifications would make it even better! Pros: - Packability - Relatively light weight - High quality materials Cons: - Short slide length - No quick release plate - ... show more

  • Don't bother, Save up for a proper slider
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. The slider will wobble, bend, and in general not look very smooth. Once you get the footage into Premiere pro you can negate some of it with the Warp stabilizer... But overall, a waste of money. I don't see how this could be useful for anything. I have a video in a house, I'm sliding it back and forth and you can see, It's too short to make much of an impact while also being clunky. ... show more

  • Nice quality product but too short for my taste
Color: Black
Nice quality product but too short for my taste. These sliders can go for crazy prices in the hundreds and even thousands of dollars but this product is high enough quality, especially for the excellent price. The goal with a slider is to get clean, jolt-proof shots and this slider rolls along the bars very smoothly and I can get VERY SMOOTH shots by using it. I don’t spend thousands of dollars on my video equipment because I am not a professional and do this as a hobby. But even if I was a professional, I don’t see why I’d buy this product for the ridiculous prices companies like Rhino charge. I’m returning this slider simply because it is too short and I want the longer 47” slider that is only $40 more. I’m fairly certain that Rhino products probably have better quality but this slider is good enough to give smooth camera shots, which is the point. So that’s the only reason I’m giving this slider 4 stars instead of 5 stars...because I’m assuming there are top-quality products out there. But just to give you an idea of what those high-end products cost...I’m getting a 47” slider from Amazon for $90. A 42” slider from Rhino...$600!! I have no idea why. Maybe if it was motorized I’d spend that kind of money but for now, I’ll stick with products like this slider. ... show more

  • 100% BANG FOR THE BUCK
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Before making the decision to either buy this or another carbon slider that looks the same from neewer and price lower, I decided to buy the Zecti so I can also give them some airtime on the Youtube channel. The slider is very light indeed but I've been a fooled before when others say its carbon fiber and turns out that it's not carbon fiber but this is a slider that has carbon fiber rails but other parts are made from metal materials. Yes, it does have some weight to it but it's by far the lightest slider I've owned. If you never used a slider before then I would suggest to practice every single day and learn how to sure a slider with a motion ball head or fluid head. If you want to be an amazing youtube or filmmaker, one skill you need to learn is how to work a slider in the Zecti 15.7 is a good start for you newbies out there or for those looking for something to travel with while on your adventures doing travel vlogs or doing timelapse. Now as a photographer I am going to do a few MIY modifications to this slider to make it to a motion time-lapse slider. The slider has the build quality for it and the ideal length as well. This is an excellent buy for under $50 dollars and please do check my review to learn more.about this slider. ... show more

  • Versatile, well built, easy to use, a good value
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I needed to hang a camera just above the top of a chessboard for a close-up "inspection" of pawns. Was pleased to discover this device flips over and lets you suspend a camera underneath. Even better -- the adjustable feet may be removed and inserted on the other side for full level control and a stable seating. The video shows the result, albeit with my beginner slide technique showing just-out-of-the-box hesitations. It's trickier to slide underneath because there's just a tiny spot to grab on the camera mount that avoids bumping into the center brace/mount. Much easier to slide smoothly in the default position of camera-on-top. The slider is very well constructed, feels and looks solid, and will be a useful piece of kit for these unusual close-up requirements. ... show more
