It does come in a plastic bag has to be pressed after washing the first time, but that's the only time. I highly recommend this product. Fits well and the shoulders are pretty with the ruffle detail. The fabric is very comfortable and not sticky to the body and doesn'tfeel like plastic. The colors appear more blended and less bright but overall, quite pleased with the purchase.

Although the description says 'tunic length' it isn't really that long. I am 5'2"/130 lbs. and ordered a medium. It hits me at the top of the thigh area.
