Loveee this bathing suit! The quality is so nice and thick, the pattern is a little on the rough side though. Colors are so pretty and vibrant, and arenโt see through at all. Bottoms are CHEEKY! Saul literally makes some of the cutest and affordable bikinis! That being said, it can be stressful with sizing because most of us need different sizes on the top vs the bottom. Iโm 5โ 6โ 121lbs 26โ waist and 32B. The bottom fits great, especially since itโs a side tie and I can make adjustments, but the triangle top still just seems so big. I wish an XS was available in this suit. The suit is well made and not thin and see through. I love the colors!

I'll begin as I usually do for a bikini/bathing suit review- I LOVE a good bikini. I actually consider myself a connoisseur and have amassed quite a collection of suits over the years. I basically live in bikinis, year round (between enjoying the beautiful Upstate NY summers and traveling often during the cold months). I also have very high standards and opinions on quality- I look at little things that others may not even think of, so it wouldn't be a stretch to call me picky/particular. With that out of the way, here are my thoughts on this suit. This arrived quick, packed in a small, plastic zipper bag with a protective liner in place. I picked this up because I absolutely loved the overall look and colors. The bright blue mixed with the pink, green, yellow, orange and white really seamed to play well together. In person, the blue perimeter of the suit is nice and bright, but I was a little bummed by the colors on the pattern within. They are a little on the dull side and don't pop as much as I had hoped. The construction of the suit is good. The stitching, hems and material cuts are all strong/sturdy, clean and even. There are no loose threads, rogue stitches and there isn't a single area where there is exposed elastic. I was VERY pleased to see that all of the ends of the ties were folded and stitched (finished) rather than just knotted. Even the cut outs for the removable pads were reinforced with stitching. The pads are not terribly thick, but they aren't the super flimsy pads either. While they are a proper size for the top, they are round. Why does that matter? Well, I feel like a triangle top benefits more from a 3 sided pad (triangular shaped) because it holds the shape of the bust better (especially when the suit is wet) and the outline is less noticeable. I was very happy when I saw that the suit is fully lined- not in the cheep white polyester mesh. Instead, it's lined in a thin 'bathing suit' material (spandex, nylon)- the same material used for the outline and ties. It feels nice on the skin and keeps the suit from being see through. The patterned, crochet material is interesting. It's soft, well made (it doesn't fray out, shed threads) and it isn't super thick where it's bulky, but it is pretty stiff. I thought it would soften up after a wear or two, but even after that and a nice wash, it's still really stiff. I don't know of any other way to explain it really, but the stiffness kind of prevents the suit from curving with your body the way it should. It it horrible? - No. But it's not 100% optimal either. I am 5'7", 130lbs and 34B. I get so scared when I order bathing suits that they will be small and either not fit at all or the fit wont be flattering. Plus, I am a bit heavier now than I am in the summer (cold weather hibernation weight combined with holiday indulging) too, so I decided to order this in a Medium and it fits great! I think this suit is pretty easy to fit to be honest. The tie sides give you a LOT of room. I can tie the sides nice and tight and the bottoms stay on (and don't sag) at all. I actually think that sizing up gave me a little extra material in the back too. While this isn't a thong, it is very cheeky- fine to wear on a tropical beach but I wouldn't wear it at a family function or Disney cruise- that's for sure. The ties on the top also give you a lot of wiggle room, but these triangles are tiny! I'm not working with much up there and the medium just covers and contains the girls where I feel comfortable. I feel like if I ordered a small, I would be showing more than I'm comfortable with. So I would say that this may not be the best suit for those that are well endowed or more blessed than I am. I think this suit is really good looking and while the style/silhouette is a standard string bikini, the mix of the materials gives it a unique touch. I just hope, at some point, the crochet material softens up a bit.
