The z axis extension does exactly what it says it will do, but I have noticed a decrease in 3d print quality. I did 2 identical prints (beer taps) and when printing with the extension I notice the layers are a bit "off." I'm assuming the vibrations caused by the printer are resulting in the taller z axis to move more than the smaller z axis. Slowing the speed down would probably solve this issue but I didn't think it would be an issue in the first place. Having said all that, it still works as described. ... show more

    • Does what it’s supposed to do.
We ordered the z axis extension in order to printer larger items. The setup for the software was pretty easy once we found the instructions on the Snapmaker forum. It’s done exactly as it was supposed to, and we have not had one problem.

Great product for the Snapmaker Original A150. This Z-axis Extension not only allows me to print higher, but also gives me more room to attach custom made pieces to the printer. The printer’s connection hub is already attached to the back, but I now have space to attach a camera, raspberry pi, and more filament spools to the printer. Great product! 5 stars! ... show more
