I was originally skeptical about this product, but most of the Yupik items that I've purchased in the past have been high quality and flavorful (except the cookie party packs - ick). While I had never heard of dehydrated citrus fruits (Kiwi maybe?) but they do a great job with dehydrated fruits and fresh nuts and baking flours etc, so why not mandarin oranges? Surprisingly, these are somehow "juicier" than I expected. The segments are still encased in their membrane and I was afraid these would be tough and chewy because of that. I was wrong! The membrane is necessary to hold the flesh inside during the dehydration process. This allows the flesh to maintain the flavor of mandarin. These are slightly sweet but have a high sugar content so be careful if you're struggling with glycemic control - take caution. Stick to the serving size suggested. My next adventurous step will be to blitz these in a food processor and use the dust/flakes like orange zest for my orange/cranberry muffins. I can't wait! ... show more

Not that good...i was super disappointed! Tad pricey too! I really do not recommend...the texture is weird and they were not my cup of tea on the flavor! I really tried to like them but after I ate like 3 I threw them away!

Dried fruit is another way to get in your daily serving of fruit as long as they are not additionally sweetened. This particular item was coated it sugar and is not healthy if you are watching your sugar intake or do not have a sweet tooth like me. It was overly sweet and unbearable for my palate.
