I love this charming nautical-themed set! Both the earrings and the pendant are well-made & nicely polished. One thing I noticed was that the pendant and the chain are smaller than they appear in the product photos. The pendant is the size of a quarter. It fits right on top of one. And the chain is not very substantial, it is quite delicate looking. It is still a nice set and a good value. I'm looking forward to wearing it this summer. ... show more

This is a lovely little delicate nautical charm on an equally delicate gold colored chain, and is accompanied by even tinier replicas made into stud earrings. Those that I received are advertised as gold plated over silver. The plastic bag that they are shipped in further describes them as “boat gold”. I looked that up, and the only definition that I found seemed to be of a gold pigment used to paint boats(??). Under magnification, I could barely make out: “Italy”, and also “9– ( couldn’t make out the last two, but I’ll just go ahead and assume these might be sterling silver rather than pure silver!). Along with the jewelry, there is a little, velvet drawstring bag. If you enjoy delicate, classy looking jewelry with a nautical theme, or if you are in the Navy or in any other nautical situation and have a young daughter, I would imagine this would make a sweet little gift. ... show more

My wife served in the US Navy. She has always loved being on the water, and loves nautical décor and accessories. I gave this anchor set to her as a gift, and she really loves them. The earrings have posts that are attached to the anchor very well, and sit flush against the earlobe without drooping. The chain is dainty and holds the anchor pendant perfectly.
