  • Lack of view but great fit
Size: 10-inch x 36-inch
These snowshoes are great...except that since they are long, I get voted to be the one who breaks the trail... Makes it difficult to check out curvy butts from the front. Oh well, I am out and exercising more. They grip well and go on and off with ease.

  • Misleading photo
Size: 8-inch x 21-inch
The snow shoe is probably fine functionally - but the color scheme is false. The actual product is dull dark green and black - nothing like the bright color in the photo. They are aware of this - and are not removing the photo. How is this different than making false claims in writing?

  • Vey easy to use, and sturdy.
Size: 8-inch x 21-inch
My husband and I have been snowshoeing for fifty years, but at 77, we find we can't break trail the way we used to, and the older bindings and the full-size snowshoes are too cumbersome. Over the years we've downsized from the old wooden Bean snowshoes, through the Tubbs 36-inch shoes, and after much research and try-ons, we settled on these Sherpas. We've used them for a year now and are very pleased. They're short enough and light but still track well through half a foot or more of new snow. The crampons grip well on hills or crust, and the bindings are amazingly easy to use. We did find we had to use thin wire or twist-ties to clamp the heel strap back on itself, otherwise the small metal tongue will pop out of the adjustment hole. In cold and and snow, having the heel strap loosen was an issue, but wiring it tight was the solution. ... show more

  • Good, with a few notes.
Size: 10-inch x 36-inch
The fit and function of these shoes serve the purpose. The 10x36 size is more suited to open trails rather than navigating through brushy or densely wooded areas, and including poles would be a bonus. The binding toe/forefoot area is large enough to accommodate a pac boot. I wear hiking boots while shoeing and the ratchet style bindings allowed for easy adjustments & on/off. One thing I noticed was due to the large toe/forefoot area (for pac boot fitment) the bindings tended to put pressure on the outside top of my foot. I made tension adjustments during the trek which helped. It may be a matter of finding the sweet spot for a comfortable fit without too loose of a binding, but more experimentation is needed. All in all it's a good shoe for the price, especially for open trails. And get yourself some poles, they help. ... show more

  • Choose another pair. Material doesn’t stand up.
Size: 10-inch x 36-inch
We purchased two sets. The product showed unusual wear after a handful of uses. Fabric tearing, coloring coming off, etc. We have snow shoed for years and have never seen this with our prior snow shoes. The material used for the snow shoe is just not tough enough for light use. I would not recommend. When I reported it to the seller they provided me with a warranty number that went directly to a voicemail when I chose the option for customer service. Unsure how this will pan out. ... show more

  • Nice shoes
Size: 10-inch x 36-inch
They are nice quality shoes. I bought these after the price dropped 15$. And, a week after I received them, of course it dropped another 20$. It was still a good buy though. Just, watch the price a bit before you purchase these.

  • Does what I need them to do!
Size: 8-inch x 21-inch
I've used these shoes two or three times this year, all on snowshoeing trails, and I enjoyed them greatly. The are easy to put on, take off, and just the right size for me, and for the snow conditions I have encountered. FYI, I am exactly 150 lbs, and I got the small size, but it seems they don't sell them anymore. Regardless, they are big enough for me to use in the snow that I have tried them in. Not sure how well they would work in deep powder, but I don't think that is what these shoes are for. ... show more

  • Buyer beware...
Size: 10-inch x 36-inch
Product was not as shown on website. There were no trekking poles in the box, nor was there a carrying bag. Returned item for full refund.
