My girlfriend has a set of these that she swears by, so I picked up a set. By the third outing the stitching on the straps that loop beneath your boot, blew out. This allows snow to go in under the gaiter. Otherwise they are pretty good. I love the height and adjustability. Just wish the stitching was better. ... show more

Love these gaiters, they work great keep you warm and dry in most conditions, great price as well, I've had gaiters that cost a lot more and didn't preform as well. Update 7/8/16 these were just a great purchase still going strong with just a little wear but all n all very good abrasion resistance definitely recommend these excellent gaiters for a very good price. ... show more

I didn't want to send these back because I really wanted them. However, they STINK like mold or mildew. I have tried EVERYTHING TO GET OUT THE SMELL. I have put them into a bag with laundry sheets... tried the baking soda in the bag... tried fabreeze. UGH. I can't wear them. Where are they coming from? Where are they being stored? ... show more

Quality construction, sizing seems spot on. The under foot strap is very long and there is really nowhere to tuck the end, so it often comes undone. It will be easy to modify a holder or cut the strap though so not a huge deal. I like the height of these compared to width over many gaiters I have used. Warm, very warm. These gaiters keep your ankles covered and keep the cold wind and damp out of the boots. They wrap around the back of your leg and the hook attaches to your shoelace and then you can close it up with the full-length velcro-type stuff that goes in front. I haven't used them in the snow, yet. They have sturdy under-sole strap and mid-calf and top of calf adjustments. Typically these are worn outside of your pants, so some people might think of these as boot-top extenders. I have found some tiny holes in the material -- I will post photos when I can ... show more
