We really like these snow shoes for my 3.5 year old. So easy to get on and off! The one thing I don’t like is that they scratch easily (the painted aluminum). It was impossible to get the zip ties off that came with connecting the two shoes together, without scratching it.

These snowshoes were easy to put on, very sturdy, and our grandchildren loved them! It was the first time that our grandchildren ever used snowshoes and they just took off on them after we helped put them on. The ages of the children were 7 and 4. I was told by other people that children should just use them for 15 minutes at first but our grandchildren were so happy with them they stayed on them for an hour. We had deep snow in Northern Wisconsin and the children were were amazed that they could walk on the snow compared to their grandparents who were sinking in the snow in their regular boots. These were a great addition to our snow gear. They're easy to get on and off and saved us from many meltdowns when the snow was too deep and wound up in their boots. Highly recommend. My kiddos are 4 and 6 and were well tolerated by both.

These snowshoes were a Christmas gift for my 7 year old grandson! He and my husband used them for the first time yesterday (Dec 26). The shoes worked well. The bindings provide a snug fit- be sure to press the clip tightly. He loved them. The problem is the poles! The very first time he used them the basket and tip were lost in the snow. This should not happen the very first time you use them. Otherwise they provided a lot of fun for them both!! Would like to be able to replace the tip and basket or order new poles. ... show more

The little guy was finally big enough to "go out with the guys" this past winter, so we got these for him (age 5). Learning curve was pretty quick and they've held up well. These are great for my 6 year old son. I see now that they have changed the ordering to show two options: with poles and bag and without. When I ordered it showed the whole kit but only gave one ordering option so the assumption was that the poles and bag were included. They were not.
