These snowshoes look great and were also comfortable and the binding was very convenient. Unfortunately, I used them twice before the plastic deck material started tearing away from rivet that attaches to the aluminum frame. I contacted the manufacturer, and the replacement process was smooth, and I had a brand-new pair within a week or so. BUT...two uses on the new pair and I had the same issue- the deck material started tearing. I weigh about 225 lbs, so I figured the 9X30 would be more than adequate since they are rated up to 250 lbs. I initiated another return, which will be the last one they are willing to do according to their return policy, and I mentioned that maybe I would have more luck with the next larger size. However, they can only replace with the size that was originally ordered. Doesn't make sense to me since the product cost would have been the same. I am really hoping that I was just really unlucky with the first two pairs, but I am not feeling that optimistic. I have ordered a different pair from a different manufacturer because I still want to snowshoe and I have zero confidence that these will last. I guess I'll just chalk it up to a $150 learning experience. ... show more
