This sign was delivered promptly (on schedule) and it works fine. It only took me an hour get a simple test message up and running. The seller has been very helpful answering questions and providing information (via Amazon chat) but I suspect much of the sign is assembled from purchased parts, especially the controller board and software. So the seller may not be the expert on these. The same controller and software are (apparently) used in a variety of LED signs and some software features don't apply to these specific signa. I want to clarify a previous statement: *It is bright enough for broad daylight and dim enough for night.* In fact, it can be hard to read when the sign in direct sunlight, especially with smaller letters (i.e., more than 2 lines of text). The LEDs may be bright enough for daytime but the unlit LEDs are basically white. So in direct sunlight they create a background of white dots which interferes with reading the text. Still great otherwise. There have been complaints about the software but I think it's OK with minor glitches. The PC software is "HDPlayer" Which actually works well, especially on a PC connected to the sign by Wi-Fi (or the internal Ethernet connector). But many HDPlay features are cryptic and/or poorly documented so expect some trial and error (I'm still experimenting). There seem to be several HDPlay options that have no function on this particular sign. The sign arrives with Wi-Fi set to access point mode, where a client (like a cell phone) can connect to the sign and run the LedArt app or DHPlay. But it can also be set to "station" mode where the sign can join a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If you select station mode with errors (weak signal, wrong password/SSID) you will lose all Wi-Fi connectivity. But you can connect an Ethernet cable to the internal RJ-45 and recover using HD Player. There is no factory restore/reset as far as I know (the internal button only tests the LEDs and the alleged restore software (from seller) didn't work. The easiest way to get inside (like to access the RJ-45 connector) is to remove the left end frame (the one no wires) and then slide the back panel partway down to expose the control card. My network Wi-Fi is weak at my signs locations so I use HDPlayer to build the "display program" and export it to a USB stick (UDrive). Then I plug the USB stick into the sign and it updates. Sometimes I need to reboot the sign before the update will "take." A direct HDPlayer computer-to-sign connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) is best, IMO. My sign has a dongle hanging from a cable on the right side; the seller confirmed it is for wi-fi (probably just a passive omni antenna). The hanging rings can slide (left and right) and be secured in position to accommodate your mounting situation. But there should to be a way to secure the bottom for windy conditions so it can't swing and bang against things (it is an outdoor sign, after all). Another hanging ring would work but the seller doesn't carry them (I'm still looking for one). Brightness is adjustable (manually, programmed, or automatic) but automatic brightness requires a sensor (not included in this sign) . Programmed brightness supports three brightness changes at specified daily times, which I think is sufficient). You can synchronize the sign's internal clock using a computer or cell phone (running LedArt or HDPlay) with sign in access point mode Several sign control commands require a live data connection with a computer or phone; i.e. can't be done by USB stick, as far as I know. If you program the sign do do things at certain times (like turn on) be sure the internal clock is set to local time. I only intend to use the sign for limited text and that works fine. The demo program includes photos and video which play fine but will never look great at 64 by 160 pixels. Bottom line: Great sign, great price, adequate software, and speedy delivery. But hard to read in direct sunlight and it may be too small (18x40 in), depending on viewing distance. The and 64x160 resolution is fine for limited text and simple graphics but not really enough resolution for photos and video, IMO.

Works pretty good. Software has limits but it is basically functional. I wish it had copy and paste. I wish a few things worked better, but once you get a hang of it. It works.

The item is great, works well, looks fantastic but is so hard to install. I literally had 15 hours into the set-up with 89 advertisers and some misc wording. It still did not end up the way we wanted but it worked. They really need some English instructions that are much more in depth. I ended up downloading the software from another website that offered these for sale. They had a great download option (for laptop, cell phone was easy) and I made it work.

this sign is very nice and bright. little difficult at first due to china product. language .system will need a firmware software update immediately for the wifi function to work properly but once i did that OK . the backgrounds are not the greatest but i don't use those much. you will need to get a smaller pixel sign for that. overall sign looks good color options .

After 8 months of owning two of these, the Wi-Fi signal quit working on the one, I messaged them, they told me how to reset the system with full instructions, i do that and that didn’t solve the issues, so they sent me a replacement sign, with better software and programming capabilities! I would give them 10 stars If I could, highly recommended! Will buy more when needed!
