  • Good lightweight, light duty, good for inside your car type snowboard transportation protection
This "YR Adjustable Snowboard Sleeve Cover Case with Shoulder Straps, Snowboard Protection Soft Cover Sleeve with Binding Open, Snowboard Bag for Travel, One bag fits 140 to 160 Snowboards" fits my Lib Tech Travis Rice 156cm Snowboard perfectly. I use this bag/sleeve when I am putting the snowboard inside my car, it protect the interior of my car as well as the snowboard. Both the shoulder strap or the bagpack straps are useful when carrying this and freeing up my hands for other bags and stuffs etc.. I wouldn't use this if I am to transport my snowboard exterior to my car (on the roof), or for flight, or even for putting in luggage compartment of a motor coach; I just don't think the protection is "enough" for those situations. Your binding is pretty much all exposed too, one thing that the product image do not show at all. All in all, this is a pretty good product for what it is; and after adjustments, it does custom fit to your board. It is not the cheapest, nor it is too outrageous. I think the price is OK, but for what it is, I think it should be a tad lower cost, maybe $10 or $20 less, then I would be much more happy to recommend this to other boarders. Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review is helpful to you in support of your purchase decision. ... show more

  • Effective snowboard bag for easy transportation.
If you're looking for a bag, this is a good one. It's lightweight and simple in design. It makes it easy to carry and store. I'm glad that this bag had an extension portion to fully cover the sides of my snowboard. After using it, I didn't really find the bag to be essential for my purposes (single day snowboarding trip to closest snow resort with easy access to lifts). ... show more

  • Great Product
First let me state that this snow board carrier is stated to carry a board from 140 to 160cms. But, i was abvle to get my 164cm board to fit acceptably into this holder. It is made of neoprene (like a wetsuit) and nylon. It is very easy to use - you separate the two halves by peeling them apart (lots of Velcro here) and inserting your board into the lower section's "pocket". It stretches to accommodate different widths of boards, though my board is really wide and was putting the stretching to it's limit. You then strap in the board with the two nylon straps (top and bottom) and the central neoprene strap. Now you are ready to slide the top half onto the top of the board into it's pocket. Pull down on the top half and up on the bottom half and then join the two via the huge velcro area. There are a top handle, a shoulder strap, and backpack straps for carrying. Note- do not try the back pack strap option out indoors! Also when using the back pack option, depending on your board size, you will need to be very aware of your vertical height! You definitely can only use the back pack option in wide open outdoors! This is a nice and useful product! ... show more

  • Simple but Effective
Simple sheath for your snowboard. Fits snugly on my 2010? Teknine Jib 152.5. Small complaints: the bumpers on either end don't really protect the ends of the board - they fold over when pressure is applied, so I imagine that the board will eventually wear through the neoprene if you aren't gentle when placing it down. Also, wish it had a little pocket for accessories, like an edge file! Or to keep your board leash, or a screwdriver, etcetera. It does have one pocket, but it's right where you would wear it against your back, so not too practical in use. Not sure I recommend this for $50, but maybe $40 sounds like a decent price considering those quibbles. Probably not a buy-it-for-life purchase, especially if you live on the mountains, but might be a good option for hobbyists or a family of occassional riders. ... show more

  • Good board protection, ease of transport
This looks well made, the stitching all looks solid and provides good basic board protection. It is nice having backpack, shoulder, and hand carry strap options. I do call is good basic, as it is just neoprene like material with no real reinforcements or harder protection items built in. The rubber bumpers at the ends, while looking good, are just on the ends on the material and the board does not slot into them. So just as another person said, they just sorta folder over. So as long as you are not rough on the board, this will give it that extra basic protection from normal back and forth. ... show more

  • Protects board and your car
This sleeve does not cover the entire board, it covers the ends and parts of the middle (and edges if you don't have a wide board). I do wish it had more utility like pockets for gloves and places to solidly attach a helmet and goggles, but that fact it makes carrying a board hands-free is pretty nice. It's made from a material that feels like a nice wetsuit. The tips are padded with rubber that will prevent dings to both your board and its surroundings. This design's biggest benefit is protecting the bottom of your board (protect that wax!) I also like that the bag is open because I suspect that will help prevent rust that usually forms in enclosed waterproof bags. ... show more

  • Fits my board well
This cover is easy to adjust and is sturdy. It fits my board very well, and it is easy to put the board in it. There are backpack straps on it, a shoulder strap, and grab handles. The straps that hold the board in the case go between the bindings, and don't get in the way at all. The material it is made out of is a little bit stretchier than it would have to be, it makes it easy to put your board in it, but it's not ideal for carrying by the handles. Overall it is a great product for protecting the bottom and edges of the board while in storage or riding in your car. ... show more
