The media could not be loaded. It’s not really fabric, but stiffish plastic. I’m using these for my Barbie storage and display so I combined 2 -25 cube pink sets with 2 -25 cube black wire sets to get this arrangement of 6 high but 20 long. I was worried about whether they could be combined because nothing here said so, but they did. I used the black joints in the back and the white ones in the front and arranged everything so all you see is white and pink. It’s shorter in the middle to accommodate houses on top. I wanted all wire for the shelves because the plastic will flex a little with weight on it and I need stiff floors so my doll furniture doesn’t tip over. The bottom two rows are all wire hidden behind the doors from the pink set. I’ll be making floors for each room so I’m not worried about stuff falling through. I think the key to ratings here is what people are expecting. They’re wire shelves so you can’t expect them to be like solid real furniture. They’re lightweight and cheap and are perfect for what I’m doing so I love them. If you plan to use them for clothes, you can’t expect to cram them full like a wood closet. Don’t even think about filling them with books. Storing empty canning jars, yes. Full jars of canned goods, no. I meticulously braced every single joint in every direction with zip ties and the whole thing is more stable and solid than I expected. But I ran out of zip ties and had to buy more locally. Everything else I had extras of except the pink panels which I calculated to have exactly enough of. Getting it all square enough with every joint fully seated so the doors hang even is a bit of a chore. I’m going to get some toggles with thin elastic and make closures for the doors because there’s nothing to hold them closed. The slightest brush pops them open. It took two days with some help from my family to get it all together. I ran some exertion cords behind to the outlets it blocks and my husband earthquake braced it for me (I posted a separate video of that here). My hands hurt, but the gloves actually helped a lot. The mallet is a joke. Since I had extras, I put one of the gloves over the head of a ball peen hammer and used that instead. The most important things to me are that it’s really stable, everything is level and the right scale for Barbie rooms, and it can hold a lot of stuff. I’ve got ten bins worth of dolls and furniture on it already and there’s still so much room. Which is good because I’ve got another 20 bins I want to empty into it. ... show more

I love the look of this shelving unit. The depth of the boxes make it decent for storage yet easy to fit into a space. Putting it together was quite tedious, especially when it came to the zip ties! (So so so many zip ties!!) the metal racks are quite fragile so you have to be very careful when you’re snapping them in place, not to break a weld! I wish all the boxes lined up 100% but for ours that’s not the case. Not enough to deter me from buying again, but definitely a quality issue I would like the manufacturer to address. ... show more

I bought it for my teen daughters tiny bedroom. She is also heading off to college soon and this can follow her for the rest of her life. She could easily use this for so many things in the next 5 years and I believe it will last that long and perhaps longer. It is sturdy but I would not trust rambunctious kids or even cats around it without securing it to the wall. I suggest a supply of mounting tacky to keep things from being bumped as it is all connected and one movement anywhere caused the whole thing to move. Zip ties are a must and believe me you want them everywhere. They are generous with supplies and even gave extras like this super cute mallet, gloves and easy instructions. As if you would need them. it is so easy to assemble. Make sure you pinch them corners together tights and don't connect the zip ties unless you visually check that all is connected first. Actually take the time to pinch each connection. Seriously. Pinch. Each. In reality I think they could have gotten by with 12" instead of the 14". I think it would be more stable also. Big complaint. The shipping box. it was worthless out of the gate. Who's idea what it to ship such weight in such a flimsy box? It arrived with big holes and I believe I am short on connectors. I plan on buying more anyway. Which you will need to do also if you plan on being creative with this at all. Tip; Put one corner in first. Not both, straight on. One, then, other. ... show more

    • Do not buy/avoid at all costs
Do not buy this product. It comes poorly shipped and there were so many missing components (including missing squares). It was also difficult to achieve symmetry in the assembly of parts. The reason I am giving YOZO a one star though is simply for the difficult experiences I am dealing with resulting in my return. 1). The bought 2 items. The original intention was to use this to store and organize my shoes. The squares were so poorly packed that I legit had to use Gaffer's tape over their boxes to make sure nothing fell out . I also had to use a 3rd box to store the long rectangular doors. 2). YOZO tried to "compromise" with me by giving me a 50% refund if I decided to keep the item. I declined the option as I thought it was rather skeptical and shady. 3). My skepticism ended up being correct as it cost me (and no I'm not joking) $321 to ship my 2 items with UPS. No wonder they didn't want me to ship it back as they knew there would be problems. 4). I am currently in the process of having Amazon help me with getting reimbursement for shipping. YOZO is trying to distance themselves from this responsibility...and I'm not letting them. From a concept perspective...I think the idea concerning the product is good...but with very CHEAP packaging (and I mean CHEAP), CHEAP quality, and CHEAP accountability....I would not recommend this business to anyone and would not advise any customers to do business with YOZO. If I could give this company a 0 stars...I would. Update: Amazon ended up reimbursing me. I hope Amazon will not use this vendor again as they did not handle the issue well at all.
