I'm really glad I purchased these brushes! I use the largest brush to apply foundation, and it makes my skin look airbrushed, it's so smooth! I use the next size brush to apply powder, and I always get a smooth finish. I only use 3 or 4 of the brushes, the rest of them are in a drawer.

i had a set of artis brushes from costco. though i paid much less than retail, i still felt the brushes were very overprised. usually, i look for the best quality at the best price, but considering artis brushes are way more expensive than these $10 sets on amazon, it was good to try the cheap dups. well, as everyone already knows by now, the handles are crappy. holding the brush by the brush head and hope they will last. the brushes are not as dense as artis's yet the end result of makeup application is a smooth. the brushes come in a thin box. in case you buy them as gifts, be aware that amazon ships them without any padding, in a thin plastic envelope. so, of course, the box arrives mangled. the set i ordered arrived with a damaged large brush. waiting for a replacement. hopefully, the next one is better. i do not use the brushes according to the seller description. using a small foundation brush for sunscreen, blush brush for bb cream and contour brush for cream blushes. have no use for an eyeshadow brush. using nose-shadow brush for an undereye concealer and an eyeliner brush as a lip liner and a lip brush. at this price, it is hard to complain even if 3-4 out of 10 brushes are not useful. aside from flimsy hadles, just waiting to be broken, the biggest issue is cleaning these brushes. maybe if you are using mostly powder products, the brushes would be easier to clean. however, cream and liquid products are very difficult to wash off. i tried, a silicone brush cleaner, special brush spray, body wash, baby shampoo - nothing really works to clean them well. cannot image what they would look like with a makeup build-up if not cleaned daily and scrubbing them very hard. this problem with keeping the brushes clean, takes all the fun out of using them. if i do not find an easier way to clean them daily, i might just go back to my traditional brushes. if anyone know a good way to clean these brushes, please share. aside of these 2 biggies, the brushes themselves feel soft and do no irritate even the most sensisitive skin. recommend with reservations. ... show more

The third largest brush works best for applying concealers and foundation. The other brushes are unnecessary. I purchased these back in November of 2019 and it has lasted in 2023. As you can see in the black of the brush, the gold coating is flaking off and it is super irritating trying to pick microscopic gold off your face, ruining your makeup. This brushes could do without the gold coating, but otherwise these are LUXURIOUSLY SOFT and super easy to clean with a little soap and warm water. 10/10 recommend for a flawless finish ... show more
