  • So far so good
Installed on a 2016 4Runner Trail Edition. This tire replaced nitto terra grappler g2 265/70r17. I went up size to 285/65r17 on this Yokohama to get a wider stance (approx 0.8-9 inch wider). It balanced well on the 4Runner Trail's OEM wheel and with no rubbing issues. I wanted to keep the stock tire diameter for fuel economy and to keep speedometer reading true. Stock tire diameter 31.5- 31.6 inch and this tire size fits that bill exactly-- 31.5 inch. It weighs 43lbs, just over 2lbs heavier than the nitto terra grappler g2 265/70r17. First observations; runs smooth and quiet like an all season tire, ride is very cushy, acceleration is not affected, more traction on wet road when accelerating from a stop. I can't report on snow traction yet but it should be better as it's a 3-peak mountain/ snow rated tire. I give it a 5/5 for now. Update 4/30/21: still very satisfied with the performance of these tires. Pretty much tested it on most condition at 15,000 miles including high speed dry and heavy rain - very stable and excellent grip. Snow traction is also much better than my previous tires, Dunlop Grandtrek and Nitto Terra Grappler, without any questions. Also tested it on over sand driving in OBX deflated it to 25psi (15psi was the recommendation) and made it through all 20miles of sand driving without any issues. It remained very quiet at any speed and still rides comfortably up to this time. 5/5 for now. Update 7/17/21: just drove through 10 miles of unmaintained forest roads in Central PA unplanned while trying to find another route after sitting in standstill traffic due to road closure in RT120. Good traction going uphill in some really bad sections of the forrest road with some rocks the height of a sidewalk curb. I should have aired down but didn't because it was an unexpected detour for me and my wife. Now at around 17-18000 miles on this tires, still very quiet on the highway like most all season tires considering these are light AT tires. Good tires and still giving it a 5/5. Update 1/5/23: 35,000miles on these tires. Surprisingly, still very quiet on the highway. Recently, drove to Nashville TN from CT for our anniversary, about 1000mi one way. Traction remained good during rain and felt confident. Will probably get at least 15k, maybe 20k, more miles on these tires before needing to be replaced. With age/ mileage considered, I would still give it 5/5. Is it still as good when compared to when it was new? I would say at least 80% as good when it was new. Update 8/14/23: 40,000mi on this set. Just came back from a road trip for my wife birthday, traveling CT to and around KY and back, 2,200mi. Had 1 instance when I needed to brake hard to avoid an accident, tires performed very well. Still handed well and road noise is barely increased when compared to they were new. Stayed balance and didn't require rebalancing to date (with 5k tire rotations). Has about 10k life left before down to wear bar. ... show more

  • This is my second set...
Size: LT215/75R15 100/97S C
The first set of Geoalandar GO-15 tires (purchased locally, not here) lasted me 8 years on desert dirt roads with sharp rocks and mesquite thorns. I had one flat, which came from running over a screw I had dropped, and I repaired with a patch from the inside. The only reason I am replacing them is that the tread is worn down enough that there is no more siping, which could make them less stable in wet weather. Technically, there is plenty of tread left, so the ones I pull off will make great spares. Great tires! Quiet on the highway, but with a bit of off-road ability and extra tread thickness to deal perfectly with my terrain. ... show more

  • Very nice AT tires!
Size: 275/70R16 114H
These are alternatives to OEM tires. Unless you are lapping the Nurburgring for tenths of a second in a car making over 300whp, Michelin and Bridgestone passenger tires are overrated/overpriced. Just imho. I haven’t driven a full tank on these Yokohamas yet, but initial highway impressions are great. They’re quiet on my LX470. They replaced Westlake SL369 which 5 years ago was an awesome budget buy. Much less tread howling than those. Of course on an LX470 it’s only noticeable windows open. Tread aggressiveness is about the same. Maybe the Westlakes had slightly wider lateral grooves. I don’t really drive in mud and I care more about snow traction. The Yokohamas have many little sipes that can act as fingerprints gripping snow. Larger mud terrain lugs with no siping might break away on hard pack snow and ice earlier. I could be making that up lol. The Yokohamas definitely balanced with far less weight. Says made in the USA. At high speeds the Yokos are doing just fine. They were almost $30 cheaper around Black Friday time. Maybe they will go on special again. Buy with confidence ... show more

  • Second set I've had now, excellent!
Size: 285/45R22 114H XL
Put this set on my f150 for all year use here in Spokane washington. Great tires. Grippy, low road noise, handles snow like a champ. Not the greatest in ice but then again not much is without studs. I keep these on my truck year round and I get roughly 2 years of heavy use. I travel for work all year round and these handle off road, snow, rain, and most types of dirt. I would not advise mud in the these of any actual depth. Since that is a very rare occurrence for me I won't take any stars. Great product and will continue to purchase. I'm driving roughly 20k to 25k miles per year in all weather types and get 2 years of life with these. ... show more

  • This Somehow Got A Screw In The Sidewall
Size: 225/65R17 102H
I had bought this because my original tired somehow got a thick piece of wire pierced through sidewall. Just a 2-3 months after having this installed somehow a screw got into the sidewall. Thankfully it held up for a long time as I was able to go a couple of days still driving on it until the new tire arrived. I just had to fill it with air everyday but it managed to get me through. ... show more

  • The Best tire for comfortable ride
Size: LT35X12.50R20 121R
They were supposed to be here on the 28th had them by the 15th , saved several hundred dollars over local dealers even after paying for installation and alignment ! They are smooth riding and quiet great handling also . I Put them on my 2020 Ram 2500 and they helped the ride on my truck enough I could tell it . I have a set on my NV3500 also been on there a couple of years and I love them . I’d buy all day long over Michelin ! I’m my experience and opinion if you’re looking for comfort quiet and smooth handling tires these are the ones . Not aggressive looking or performing but a nice look and great choice for a road tire ! ... show more

  • Yokohama tires are awesome!
Size: P265/70R16 111T
Yokohama is a brand I've trusted for the past 30 years! Purchased for 2001 Toyota 4Runner 4wd. So far I've only put 1000 miles on these G015 tires but they are smooth and quiet on the highway. I bought these to prepare for the year '22/'23 rain and snow storms. Great traction on wet pavement and during rain storms. Through up to 5" puddles at 45 mph it's stable/straight even when catching standing water with just one side. Easy to control and good feedback. I would consider even using these on sedans and crossovers. ... show more
