    • I'm going to need smaller canisters
I was optimistic I could use this for some of the dog's assorted treats, vitamins, and whatnot in our laundry room. I can, but the shelves fill up really fast. The railings at the front of the shelves make it so that you're limited to items less than 6" in diameter. This is fine for assorted smaller items, but unfortunately those railings aren't easily removable. The height of the shelf is good and the rustic finish suits our decor well. The color on the wood is a little lighter than I was expecting, and less evenly applied than on the one pictured, but it's not bad. It says the wood is pine, but it feels unusually light to me, almost like balsa. I really like the finish on the screws and I wish I knew what it was called. Extra screws are included, which was helpful since one of them fell under something while I was unpacking the box. The one real issue besides the uneven finish is that the legs of the brackets don't sit level. There are some extra foam pads in the kit, so I'll have to see if I'll be able to level it by sandwiching them together under one of the legs. Overall, I like this corner shelf. ... show more

This two-tier organizer looks sharp and is amazingly easy to assemble. The manufacturer put threaded insets into the wood where the uprights attach to the platforms. Extra hardware is included in case you drop a screw and it goes down the drain (don't ask me how I know this). The included screwdriver is different from the typical included assembly tool, too. This screwdriver is easy to use and worth keeping. When I first opened the box I thought the organizer looked a bit small. After putting it together, I realized it is just the right size to catch the stuff that clutters up the corner of a bathroom counter without taking up too much space. The unit is sturdy enough to hold all you can put on it without being too heavy. The understated wood and black trim are a welcome upgrade from the cheap plastic corner shelves that have been around for years. I plan on purchasing two more of these, one for each corner of the long counter in our primary bathroom. ... show more

    • A bit small but works ...with a slight modification
This is an attractive bathroom accessory tiered shelf. Even looking at the measurements it was smaller than expected when I assembled it. Some space is taken up around the border for the rails to prevent items from falling off the sides. The front third leg was a bit short and it was wobbly when assembled so I used a washer under the screw to make it a bit longer and more sturdy. Overall this is a decent price but I recommend using the washer for avoiding frustration. ... show more

This is a decent shelf, It works well for my vanity where I store toothpaste, deodorant and similar items. It holds a decent amount of toiletries. The wood is very light and cheap feeling but what you would expect for the price. It is easy to assemble and comes with everything you need to do to do it.     • Too small for kitchen use, best for small home decor items
This is small, I can fit two 16oz mason jar sized containers on each and nothing else. Its not even tall enough to hold a jar of oil. I still use it in the kitchen but it kinda takes up more space than it saves which defeats the purpose. If you were to use this elsewhere for small home decor items, it would be good.
