The jacket was way too Short and looked like a child's size, even the sleeves went to just below elbows. The pants fit perfectly except too short on the bottom and no flare. I tried this on and it is a risk that paid off in my favor in a positive choice that is exactly everything that is in my above capital letter heading. I take the time to include an exact match that my hopes of helping anybody who takes the time to read my review will be assured the review refers to the item they are considering buying. On a very rare occasion once in a while I've come across a product which while I'm reading the reviews it isn't for the item I'm considering. As a customer there are times that I find the reviews helpful in whether I buy something. Other times reviews aren't good, but I still buy the item depending on what the item is. Knowing how valuable reviews are I reiterate that this velvet matching lounge wear is an excellent choice that when I received it I was thrilled how beautiful it looked and felt very comfortable. Its royal blue color is an understated soft color. To clarify why I love it is that it isn't loud which makes it look more expensive than it is. I am pleased in both how nice it looks and how warm, but breathable making me impressed with the high quality textile of cloth it is made of. The luxuriant, soft, plush feel in both the matching jacket that is cropped with a full zipper. The pants are a drawstring that allows for adjusting the pants to offer comfort. Both the jacket and pants I washed in the machine in cold water and let them air dry. I prefer steaming all my clothes but after washing they need to air dry, which the wrinkles were easily steamed so it looked brand new just as terrific before laundering which it appeared just as brand new as when I took it out of the package. Both the cropped style jacket and drawstring pants have pockets. If you are considering buying this I would advise not waiting, since this is a desirable product that sells out fast. I can understand why since the flared legs, and crop jacket can be exquisite enough to wear grocery shopping or errands. What a multi use matching lounge wear set that can be worn both at home relaxing, or outside the home. Wherever you want to go you can feel comfort yet wear it knowing you look sharp wearing a stylish matching jacket and pants. I wouldn't state that it is nice enough to wear outside the home, until I tried it on and saw that the velvet set is appropriate for outside the home. With everyone who orders this will have their own ideas, but I assure you this beautiful set will be something that the opportunities of use are endless. This is an item that you will definitely be pleased with and will be well worth every cent you spend. Just an amusing aside. I saw these and I wanted a purple color but I couldn't get it in my size. I could have sworn I settled for my size in a bright pink. When I opened the package and saw the royal blue I was thrilled. When I ordered it maybe I did order the blue, I can't remember. I had planned on it just being worn in my home. I'm delighted that it is so elegant that it can be worn on errands. My husband used to make fun of me over 20 years ago when I wore a brown set grocery shopping calling me a teddy bear. When he saw me try this set he thought it was really nice, and thought that I was out spending a fortune since he knows I have expensive taste and I wouldn't wear something that didn't look and feel like a high end item.
