I am just not a fan of the empire waist, my boobs are right up and nestled to the seam. Had the waist dropped another few inches, it would be all that much better. I wasn't paying attention while doing laundry and it took a trip thru the drier, it's now a smidge tight across my shoulders and upper arms, but it did shrink up a solid 2-3 inches length-wise as well. Pre-trip thru the drier I was in danger of tripping while walking (I'm 5'3) and had to hold up for certain on the stairs. All that aside, it's a keeper. Pockets, it's all about the pockets. And sleeves - real almost half sleeves, why are so many dresses sleeveless? Le sigh..... but this dress, half sleeves, and pockets, how glorious.

This dress is nice and light. Perfect for summer and flattering over the lumps and bumps. I sized up one for a more flowy appearance which was almost perfect. However, it is very thin and see through. It does have a built in slip but it is way too tight for comfort (weird with sizing up one) . So I am going to remove it and use my own slip. Then the dress will be my unicorn. I am 5’1” and the dress just grazes the top of my sandals.

I actually love the color and pattern of this dress. It does fit a bit odd. I am 5'5", 160lbs and usually wear a 12 or more often a 14. Based upon the reviews I purchased a large. It is a little tight in the back shoulders and pulls slightly when I reach forward. I am average in the bust and the front fits fine. Since there is no give in the fabric it is a bit annoying. The lower dress is very bilowy. I will keep the dress, but order another in an XL. If you are larger busted, I would recommend sizing up.

As other reviewers noted, the material does not look or feel like 100% cotton -- more like polyester. The fabric is OK, the print is beautiful, but it isn't very cool for summer, and it has no stretch at all. The dress in Size Small looks good on me, but it feels slightly tight across the shoulders because it has no stretch. I am a typical Size 6, and next time I would order a Medium.

I really like these dresses, they're very pretty, but this particular dress look like yellow with a little bit of black. It turns out it's blue with a little bit of yellow. Not a deal breaker, I'm keeping it and I love it, but worth noting that the color is not the way it looks in the photo.

This dress is like wearing a big nightgown, it is super comfortable and lightweight. I docked it one star because the David is ridiculously wrinkly. I steamed it and ironed it and those wrinkles did not come out. I know rayon is wrinkled but this took it to a new level. I’m hoping it will stay comfortable after a wash.

My dress was the most beautiful dress. I wore it to a formal gathering at an elegant hall and I fit right in. I received many compliments as well. The dress was comfortable, and flows very nicely when you walk. I like that it covered my post-surgery stomach as well. I intend to buy 10 more in different patterns, buying one each time I get paid. I can’t afford to get them all at one time. However, you won’t go wrong with these lovely dresses. I am a size 12, so I bought a large. It is long on me, to my ankles, since I am only 5’1” but the dress served it’s purpose. I am thrilled to have found a designer where the dress fits me perfect and I can where their dresses to church, dress them down, or wear to a formal occasion since they have so many various patterns. I am thrilled. Lastly, my order came very fast. I ordered the dress late at night and it shockingly came the next morning around 8:30 am. Right on time!

For fitting purposes it's important to know there's no stretch, as it's a woven fabric. Which is good for summer, as woven fabrics are generally more breathable. The areas where this is a problem for me: there's a lining (the outer shell is pretty see through) that's not as roomy as the outer skirt. When I reach forward, the sleeves constrict quite a bit. My plan is to take out the lining and see if that gives me enough fabric to replace the sleeves with poofy long sleeves. I'll have to wear shorts underneath, which I hoped to avoid with this length of skirt but I can't go to work with my undergarments visible through it. Overall it's okay, just not ideal.
