First of all, let's get real. I'm 63 and built like a stump. The days of my lithe, willowy, size 7 hippy chick with the feathered roach clips in my hair are long gone. Nearly every dress I try to fit my 22/24 (or 20/22 - depending upon clothing manufacturer) hips and posterior into (not to mention the 'girls') make me look like a 30's Slavic nona headed out to the fields to pick potatoes; all I need are mens work boots and a babushka. Unflattering in every way. I am realistic, I am by medical reckoning, in fact, obese. In the midst of making a lOT Of life changes (including ditching cigarettes two years ago, no vaping and being a "Friend of Bob W" for decades) I'm still a large gal. I do, however, care about being comfortable and looking my best. Summer, too is NOT a big gal - or guys - friend. Add poly/rayon to hot weather and its a perfect storm of "moist" not to mention miserable. That's where THESE DRESSES ARE A MIRACLE!!!!! Having read the reviews and looking at the photos/videos I was doubtful. The sizing for these sites is NOT accurate as far as I am concerned. I'm a huge fan of Minibee, Zanzea and etc BUT I can only wear a 5X in most of those sizes. I was certain this dress, even in the largest size would be wayyyy too big on me. I took a gamble on the 3X and was PLEASANTLY DISAPPOINTED! The 3X is simply too big (and that's NOT something I get to say every day) - I am 5'4 and 230 lbs. Am I a pear? Apple? Kumquat? I've no idea but I do have a lot on top and hips/thighs. In some brands - here are some I try to find - Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Christopher Banks, Nordstrom - I'm a solid 2X/XXL/18-20/22-24. Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans fit me to perfection - size 18 or 20 . Ruby Road - ditto (I'm a 2nd hand clothing freak). There is PLENTY of room in the chest and oh, the feel of that WONDERFUL, soft cotton is sensational. At last a summer dress that I can top with a light cotton gauze shrug or blazer, put on a pair of low heel sandals and I am good to go. Also note - the dress hits me AT THE ANKLE - which I LOVE> Quality - for the $ - I believe the dress I received to be a good value. Yes, it IS see- through but NOT transparent. I live in longer cotton/linen blazer/dusters that hit mid-thigh, so I feel confident that I won't be giving a NSFW view when going out to the market, music events or a picnic. I will NOT wear a slip due to the unbearable roasting factor of poly/rayon - but a hip length over takes care of the issue. This dress IS 2-3 sizes to large for me. I'm keeping it but will belt it and am hoping a VERY careful hand wash in COLD and a damp/fluff dry will not make it shrink. I have BOUGHT FOUR MORE OF THESE. LOVE THEM. I'm picky about QUALITY/FIT/COMFORT - they more than meet my expectations.

Very comfortable. Just a bit snug around the bust line but a beautiful dress for the summer (or spring with a sweater). Hides all sorts of body issues! Love the pockets. It might be too long if you are under 5'3" and too tight at bust if you are larger than 36B. I'm 5'4", 168 pds, 38B.

This is a cute summer dress and I look forward to wearing it. I only gave 4 stars because although labeled "100% Cotton" I am almost 100% sure it's actually rayon-- that's how it looks and feels. Rayon is okay with me, and I am keeping it, but you should know; it's just not the fabric I expected. I always wash garments before wearing, and hung it to dry, and as rayon tends to do it did shrink a little, but not more than I would expect any new natural-fiber garment to do. Overall I am happy with it! It's pretty and cool and fun to wear. Edit: Now that I've worn this a few times, I want to buy more! POCKETS, y'all!! 😁

Bought this for my mom and she loved it, she's 5'4" and 128 pounds XS fit perfect. Great summer dress. Not see threw and length is nice above the ankle.

The only thing was it is small in the chest area, if your are too heavy, go up a size, the dress flows well and a great summer dress, love the dress
