The dress was way too small and the zipper and front has loose thread on the beading. The dress was supposed to be an 11 and was clearly 2 sizes too small. The strap was itchy and the top of the dress where the mesh were was really small even though the straps were a normal length. The top did not make my breasts look flattering at all but they looked like triangles. Also I wanted to return the dress and they offered me a partial refund because they wanted me to keep the dress. They also asked me to send the dress back to Beijing through the amazon return 3rd party ups which would’ve been over $200 but that was more than triple what the dress costs. Ordered this dress for my beach wedding. I am about 5’3” 204lbs 40c with hips and thighs. It was perfect, lightweight and comfortable. I was worried about sizing so I ordered a size up even tho I was losing weight. (Was 230lbs when ordered) I’m sure I could have ordered based off my measurements (at the time) and been fine since I still needed alterations. I’m short so I had to hem several inches off the bottom which made the train appear longer (I loved that). I got expedited shipping and received the dress in a couple of days. It was worth the extra shipping cost. The fabric around the arms/shoulders was a little itchy but I didn’t really notice during the ceremony or after. I tried on other dresses locally and never got that “feeling”. This dress didn’t make me cry but I got that “feeling”. I felt beautiful and like a bride.     • Beautifully Made, However...

The dress I purchased is beautiful, got it today and opened the package almost immediately. The dress falls to the floor perfectly (wasn't planning on wearing heels to my wedding, so I expected it to be a bit long). The bust section fits snugly but perfectly. I am 5'5" and very busty (36DDD) and for this reason, I ordered a size up, (normally a 12 on Amazon), so I ordered a 14 to save myself from taking the dress to an alterations specialist. My wedding is in 2 months, so I have time, I just didn't want to risk it. I've read complaints that others received dresses that smell, this was not the case for me and I intend to fabric soften and refresh the dress prior to wearing it. My biggest issue is as I pulled the dress out of the packaging, buttons started popping off. I understand these are button caps and the actual buttons are stitched on, however, there are 40 - 50 or so buttons down the back of the dress. But now I have to reinforce each button cap to ensure they're secure prior to my wedding. What a hassle. I'll have to take to an alterations seamstress anyway, a costly task that could have been avoided had someone at the factory QC this problem before it left. Luckily I have a backup dress on order, we'll see what issues that one arrives with. Ugh! ... show more

When I received the dress I didn't love it. I was sad because I didn't have time to look at another one because the wedding was close. The lining of the dress is only halfway down the leg, I didn't think it was nice for a wedding dress it was ugly and visible, I couldn't waste any more time looking at another dress, I decided to take it to a haute couture seamstress and then she remade it all. the lining. After that I started to like the dress. This is very nice, but from the trouble this gave me on the eve of the wedding, I don't know if I would buy it. So you already know that if you buy, you might need this rework. I spent $100 to fix it. But everyone loved it and in the end I loved it too.
