The dress I purchased is beautiful, got it today and opened the package almost immediately. The dress falls to the floor perfectly (wasn't planning on wearing heels to my wedding, so I expected it to be a bit long). The bust section fits snugly but perfectly. I am 5'5" and very busty (36DDD) and for this reason, I ordered a size up, (normally a 12 on Amazon), so I ordered a 14 to save myself from taking the dress to an alterations specialist. My wedding is in 2 months, so I have time, I just didn't want to risk it. I've read complaints that others received dresses that smell, this was not the case for me and I intend to fabric soften and refresh the dress prior to wearing it. My biggest issue is as I pulled the dress out of the packaging, buttons started popping off. I understand these are button caps and the actual buttons are stitched on, however, there are 40 - 50 or so buttons down the back of the dress. But now I have to reinforce each button cap to ensure they're secure prior to my wedding. What a hassle. I'll have to take to an alterations seamstress anyway, a costly task that could have been avoided had someone at the factory QC this problem before it left. Luckily I have a backup dress on order, we'll see what issues that one arrives with. Ugh! ... show more

I purchased this dress, and it looked just like the picture. Unfortunately, it did not fit me right. I'm 5'6 and based on my measurements I purchased a size 14. The bust was really big (I'm only a 34 in that area). The waist was very comfortable (31 in), not too tight, but I have hips (41.5) and this dress fit a little too snug, which also causes it to gather at my hips and not look right. The dress is lined, and the length was fine. The material seems to have a blueish/purple tint to the white...not sure why. ... show more

When I received the dress I didn't love it. I was sad because I didn't have time to look at another one because the wedding was close. The lining of the dress is only halfway down the leg, I didn't think it was nice for a wedding dress it was ugly and visible, I couldn't waste any more time looking at another dress, I decided to take it to a haute couture seamstress and then she remade it all. the lining. After that I started to like the dress. This is very nice, but from the trouble this gave me on the eve of the wedding, I don't know if I would buy it. So you already know that if you buy, you might need this rework. I spent $100 to fix it. But everyone loved it and in the end I loved it too. This dress came in very quickly. It was perfectly on time. I ordered a size 6, I’m 5’ 1” and I fluctuate from 125-130lbs. It was a little long but I was expecting that, I did not have it hemmed only because I just did not have time for it. However it did have a quick fix for the straps, they were taken up like one inch and it made the entire dress just fit perfectly. I wore no bra and everything was were it needed to go (lol) I also, had the little belt thingy around the waist un-tacked. I didn’t like it being tacked only bc it made it difficult to slip on over the hips, so we un-tacked it, after that it went on so easy. Definitely would tell you to purchase. All in all the dress is beautiful but does need some adjustment on the neckline with the lace. I am 38, 32, 42 and I ordered a size 14...fit perfect in the waist and hips but was too big in the top which i expected. I am going to have my seamstress add beading to give this dress a more vintage/flapper look and a lining underneath the skirt. Totally worth the $$$ saved as this mimics an Enzoani $3000+ dress. FYI the satin is not shiny it is flat or almost polyester looking which I am totally fine with since my wedding is in July and I wanted the flat and lightweight feel vs heavy satin. It was suppose to be delivered 2/22 but I got it early!...Only took 2 weeks after purchase to be delivered. I am very satisfied with the purchase and can't wait for my big day in it. ... show more
