I have no issue with the performance of these braces and understand that they are only useful for sliders but for almost $100 they should be of good quality materials but they are made from the super cheep micro ball heads and clamps on the other end the slid locks are cheep plastic also. The problem with this unit is that IF you are using it on a single tripod of a light stand, as you pass the center of gravity - the arms do not hold the slider steady and the slider is likely to tip over.
