I wanted to change my kitchen a bit, but not put too much money into it. Installing was a challenge being I did it myself. Started to do sections, but I could see the seam. So I started over and did it the long way. Best way I found was to peel the backing away, then fold it. Place it where it was straight, adjust if I needed. Then smooth as I had my left hand under it peeling the backing off little by little. It turned out beautifully! However, I baked last night and put the pan on a pot holder. When I removed it from that spot, I noticed it bubbled a little underneath. So a rack would be better, or place on another surface if you can. Great product didn't tear, and adhered to my clean countertop well. Also, get a small sharp art knife for a good smooth cut! ... show more

Lovely glossy finish that mimics the look of real marble. I ordered the cream color to coordinate with my dining chairs. I needed something to cover scratches and discoloration on my tabletop and it did the trick. Other reviews mentioned that you can see where the contact paper overlaps on itself and that was true for me. You can kind of see seams if you look closely in the photo and its slightly more obvious in real life. However.....its still a big improvement from the finish coming off the table that i had before. I would recommend this product to anyone covering a smaller surface (like an end table of coffee table), as you don't get that much in just one roll. Order at least 2-3+ if you have a surface my table's size or larger. I almost ran out trying to finish this project. I can also bet that a rectangular or square surface would be way easier to cover with this product, it's a little more challenging to cover a round surface. Overall, you will probably have some minor imperfections if its your first time doing something like this but if you're trying to cover an already flawed surface, I think it's worth buying because it will be better than what you had before. ... show more

I originally bought a traditional white with black veining paper for my console. It was fine. The stuff I grew up with, but this is head and shoulders above. The print quality it great and the paper is easy to handle. I hope it holds up in my kitchen, it looks great for $7 it’s a wonder! I bought this thinking I could cover up one outdated pink bedroom wall that has some black stenciling done in acrylic paint. 🫣 Yikes lol! First, let me say, that the product itself, is beautiful. For the price, it’s an “ok” quality wallpaper that doesn’t necessarily look cheap. There’s no color tint, incase people are worried about yellows or blues. It’s a pretty, white marble gloss paper. If you’re skilled at applying wallpaper, then you could probably use this with no issues whatsoever. However, this was my second time applying wallpaper and I found this product to be somewhat difficult to work with. I’m using two different marble wallpapers to cover the pink wall and this one did not adhere well. Since I have an entire roll, I decided why not try applying it to a stainless steel surface in my kitchen. Surprisingly, it was much easier to apply to stainless steel than a wall. It adhered well to the surface and was very easy to lift and reapply if I needed to adjust/realign anything. But overall, it was too transparent and showed any overlap from the piece under it. This stuff is so awesome! I ended up getting another one that was dark black with gold because when I read reviews someone said because it's so light it's almost transparent and didn't cover anything underneath. However, I have a big round burn I failed to sand out well that's pretty dark and a little puffy which was covered perfectly fine with this. In fact, I didn't do any prepping aside from a quick brush off because I wanted to do a trial piece/ section just to get the hang of how to handle it and see what it would look like. You couldn't even tell there were a few crumbs and stuff underneath- only because I knew I was able to feel a little speck but it actually came out amazing and I decided not to even redo it. It is so easy to apply, cut, it is very durable and I've been pretty rough on it just to test it out. There's no peeling, ripping or over damage at all, it sticks so well you can't even tell where the sections were applied and any water kind of pools on it not penetrating at all. I wish I would have found this year's ago!! I'm renting and can say I'll probably always use these not only for the appearance but to keep any countertops from getting damaged whether I own or rent. Price was so minimal also. I checked into the kits from home improvement stores to do them all before I move out which are really tone consuming, take days to dry, there are alot of steps to prep, not much room for error plus the inability to easily fix any mistakes you do make and it would have cost about 10 times more. I really can't get past how good they look either- my mom came over and said "it looks so real". ... show more
