These are nice looking wedges. Things I like: ** Grip is Yamato midsize, so bonus for me -- I had planned to regrip to midsize anyway. This Yamato grip is similar to the feel of a Golf Pride Tour Velvet. It's round (no rib) and feels pretty good. ** Looks like a decent shaft. Steel, and stepless. ** Deep, uniform grooves and milling on the face looks sharp and consistent. Watch out for: ** Lofts were off on the wedges I received: 52* (measured 54*), 56* (measured 59*), and 60* (measured 62*). ** Lie angles on the 52* and 60* were off too -- all were supposed to be 64*; 52* was 2* upright and 60* was 1* upright. ** When I bent the wedges back into spec, I found they were a little tough to bend. Listing says they're made from "forged carbon steel". While I don't doubt that, these wedges were more challenging to bend than quality forged irons like Hogan or Mizuno. Not buttery at all. My guess is these forgings have a higher carbon content to give the grooves and milled surfaces a little more longevity; the downside is the steel feels firmer.     • They look good and feel good so far?
So i just recieved these irons. i am super stoked because i didnt want to spend the type of money on name brand full face wedges. They look really good havent been able to see how they perform yet. my only drawback to them is mine came with midsized grips? i usually use standard grips and im not really that good for it to probably make a difference but the grips seem quality the feel good too so just my little nit pick about them otherwise seem to be a fantastic product for the money. ... show more

    • Great wedge shape too much grip
I finally played a round and was able to use the 58 degree wedge. Very predictable and comfortable club. The only downfall is that the milling produces too much grip and cut into the cover of my balls. If you use a harder ball or don't produce as much spin you may have different results.

These wedges are nicely weighted and the mill grind is excellent with 10* bounce, good spin stopping or spin back. Are they top of the line? NO, but they're definitly not the bottom either. For the price and quality it's a sure win. I'd recommend these wedges to any lvl player

    • Really decent wedges for the $$$

$125 for 3 wedges....saw these while scrolling through Amazon and was interested because they are full faced wedges. Figured, 3 wedges for the cost of just 1 name brand wedge and with full face grooves to boot, couldn't go wrong even if I hated them(can just give it away). Needless to say, I just played a round with them and they performed better than expected! Pitching, chipping, flop shots, the grooves on these wedges and the sole grind(kinda C-grind w/ heal toe relief) really performed well. Could make the ball stop on a dime, or pitch with braking and release action! Only thing I didn't care for, was that it felt lite, so I put it on a swing weight scale and they came in at D2. I'm a club tinkerer, so I'm going to pull it apart and tip weight it to make it D4-D5....most of you can just add some lead tape to the back of it, but I don't want to cover up the skull on the back of it. ... show more
