I got this set of journaling supplies for my daughter as a birthday gift, who just got into journaling. It's a large collection of vintage-style journaling supplies, including scrapbook paper, translucent sulfuric acid paper, a grid TN notebook, scrapbook stickers, photo frames, coated paper, label frames, stamp stickers, and washi stickers. The brown vintage-style paper pieces are charming and feature various designs, such as butterflies and tickets, making them ideal for creating multiple junk journals, cards, or scrapbooks. The included slim, tall blank notebook with grids can also be used to create a bullet journal. The only downside of the kit is that some of the paper items were not slipped into the package smoothly, causing parts to be folded and creased. Additionally, the larger pieces of paper are thin and delicate, making them prone to tearing. While the kit does not come with instructions or idea sheets, it is still a great value for the many pieces included in the package.

There are a lot of different pieces in a package, all with a very vintage feel to them. Some are printed cardstock, some are transparent, some have room to put notes or the date. There are a lot of items with butterflies on them and quite a few "tickets" if you like that look. But there is certainly more than enough for multiple junk journals, cards or scrapbooks. There was a slim, tall blank "notebook" included with grids on the pages, so this could be used to create a really nice bullet journal. I think this is a great value for all of the pieces included in the package. My only complaint is that a few of the paper items were not slipped into the package smoothly, so parts were folded and creased and there would be no easy way to get the fold out of the element. There are also some very pretty but very thin larger pieces of paper which you would need to be very gentle with since they look as if they would tear very easily. I do like the brown elements but would be curious to see the green, too. I wish the seller would consider a combination packet with half brown and half green since the colors would still compliment each other.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really fun little set with some great elements. I'm not sure how great it is for beginners if they're not sure how to get started with journalling as there is no idea sheet or instructions. It's, also, a bit shy in the patterned paper department. What is in included it beautiful, just not a lot of papers. Also, not a big fan of the bullet journal included as it's quite stiff but it might loosen up with use. The papers and paper elements are of a pretty thin stock, they're rest of a thicker stock but all very much useable and beautiful. They include all kinds of tickets, labels, panels and you name it. A few little bookmarks, a ton of vellum stickers, vellum elements and more. The stickers are not terrible sticky... not sure how well they will adhere with the adhesive included on the backs. All kinds of work arounds for that though. I'm not big into journaling but it's such a cute set and the elements can be used in so many other projects such as cards, vignette displays, multi-media projects, home decor projects and more. If you are a cardmaker, journal or a papercrafter of any kind, grab this set as it will be easy to put it to good use. Great set at a great price ($9.99 at the writing of this review)!

This set even includes a small gridded notebook, twenty-nine sheets of different paper, and fifty stickers, which is plenty to get started on or add to a scrapbooking journey. The Bottom Line: This is a great vintage add-on kit for current scrapbookers/ junk journalers or the perfect starter set for beginners. The YagCu Junk Journal kit has a lot in it for $9.99, well worth the price.

I love journals and collage and this set gives me lots of choices. The journal has graph paper which makes great starting place for collages and the size is perfect for travel journal. It comes in plastic bag, not the best presentation for a gift Between the journal, which I do like, and the elements included I am mostly satisfied with this.

Wonderful kit for beginners or experts. It's got a variety of stickers and papers to choose from for whatever you need them for. I love ordering these honestly because you get so much stuff in them and every single piece is useful. The colors are muted and the images are clean. I love all the tags and labels as well. You can really go wrong with these.

If you are a beginner in scrapbooking, or even a long time one, I recommend getting a kit because they always include things that you wouldn't even think about using till you have it. This is a wonderful little kit! It includes so many things for that vintage junk journal type of look. I can't wait to also use this for some penpals!
