  • Upgrade? Second time buyer.
Color: Green Size: 3X-Large
Me: Non-binary trans masc, 5’7, 44” bust, around 200+ lbs. Let me start by saying this doesn’t fit the standards for a “safe” binder, as the elastic goes all the way around the rib cage instead of only compressing across the front. I would urge anyone who purchases this binder to order larger than they think they need. Binders that are too tight can restrict breathing and can cause harm to your rib cage and lungs. Knowing all of this, I chose to make this purchase anyway. I ordered two of these last year and was generally very happy with them. Lots of euphoria with a flatter chest, and overall a comfortable way to achieve it. I’ve gained some weight and was getting tired of fighting with bra extenders so I ordered three more in a larger size this week. DESIGN I was excited to discover the new black and white ones are longer than the ones I ordered last year. They have 11 clips instead of 8, so they cover more area and reduce roll-up. For some reason, though, the teal color did not have the 11 clips like the other two (despite all being the same size), which was disappointing. I agree with other reviewers who have mentioned the elastic line at the top being a bit annoying, but it’s not unmanageable for me. I like the coverage and can breathe pretty easily, but it is important to take breaks from wearing it. MATERIAL The solid black and solid white colors are a t-shirt like material, and the teal is a slinky sport material. I made the mistake of putting my old binders in the dryer a few times, which is what I attribute the curling to, so I’m hopeful that with proper care the new ones will hold their shape better. DRESSING & FIT The best way to put this binder on is to clip it first, and then put it on over your head like you would a sports bra. Then adjust as needed for a flatter look. Unhook all of the clips to remove. I like the amount of coverage it has across the back. The longer design does cause some digging/irritation at the bottom edge of the clips, especially if you’re a larger bodied person (expect more rolling up, as well). I will update this review later on after I’ve worn and washed it a few times. ... show more

  • My favorite binder ever- tight at first but broke it in and now it gets me very flat
Color: Black Size: Small
Writing this for my fellow NBs and transguys I have tried many binders and I know that the snaps are contriversial but I love this binder. All my previous ones would stretch quickly or not get me flat without a folded sports bra on top. This one is great. Given that other ones i got (size M or S)didnt work well, I went from a small. I am a C cup but maybe a little smaller bc I have been working out a lot and starting medical stuff, and my ribcage is small around. At first the binder was kind of small and I could only wear it for 6 hours or so (LISTEN TO YOUR BODY) but within two weeks i could wear it all day, and a month later I can fall asleep in it without pain (remember not to sleep in binders- I just do it by accident sometimes). The sleeping thing is what i really like about the clasps. They never come undone so dont worry, but often times I fall asleep or get in bed and forget my binder, which is bad, so the great thing about the snaps is that you can unhook the binder under your clothes so it is not binding you. It allows you to stop binding even if you feel to lazy to change. It is a life saver. Personally I snap it and slip it on over my head like a regular binder but it is so nice to have the option to tighten the bottom or take it off within my clothes. After 20+hours it makes me a little sore so dont bind for that long (i think 12 is max) but if you are practicing safe binding this one is super effective. I even feel comfortable just wearing it around my roomates. You can see a small ripple under shirt (because of the elastic wrap around band) but it makes you super flat. Just be safe, listen to your body, get the right size, and take time to break it in. ... show more

  • Not like a GC2B
Color: Black Size: Large
If you are looking for a cheaper GC2B, this is not for you. It is quite a bit different than a GC2B binder. Pros: -does not hurt your back as much -very easy to put on and take off -flattens chest, would not recommend for people who have a larger chest though. Cons: -I have no idea of the legitimacy of this product in terms of the damage it might do to your ribs. I feel as though this is an ace bandage that is more even and less tight. -It is literally a piece of elastic with racerback straps attached to it - It might be a little short and you might get underboob spillage. - It rolls up towards the end of it - you need to order a size bigger or I am absolutely positive you are going to mess up your chances for top surgery. Other stuff you should know about this product: - It does not bind by putting pressure front and back, it binds from the sides -It is not too uncomfortable, however, there will always be a discomfort when it comes to binding. - It does not come in a tank style, which is not problematic for me, but it may be problematic for others. - DO NOT WEAR THIS FOR MORE THAN 8 HOURS!!!!!! No matter what purpose you are using for, that is NOT good for your ribs. This goes for any binder, not just this one. - Take a break from this at least once a week. If your chest is bigger make it 2-3 times a week. Again basic binding rules. - Do not put this in the dryer! it will warp and shrink, as does all elastic if you put it in the dryer, especially on high heat. If you really have to dry on low heat. Final Take: It does what it is supposed to do; however, I only bought this as a last-ditch effort because I forgot my binder at home and I am away from my home. I would still recommend getting a GC2B if you can afford it, underworks is a close second. For the non-trans people using this product not for drag purposes, Breh get a sports bra. Why go through the pain of binding? It's really not ideal at all. Working out with a binder can mess up your ribs too, THIS IS NOT A SPORTS BRA. I would not buy this product again, but the choice is yours ultimately and I can't control that. For the brand: Please make your vocabulary for the binder more trans-friendly, it will probably draw in wayyyy more trans customers (Take out the lesbian and tomboy vocab, that is lowkey transphobic). You have a ways to go, work on your product. Make it affordable AND SAFE. I doubt that this is safe. If it is safe through show me some statistics, please. Good luck to my fellow Trans Friends! I wish you the best on your journey! If you are a drag king, kill it at your performance! I will be there in spirit to tip you! ... show more
