I wear these boots religiously. They do crack after a while which is tragic. I reached out to Xtratuf and was informed there is a year warranty. Sadly I realized that just a couple weeks after a year's time. Even with that I'd still recommend!

I love xtratuf boots. These are so comfortable and seriously waterproof and non slip. They’re perfect for my work in an aquarium and a wetlab. Sadly, I’ve only had these boots for 2 months and they already have cracks/tears in the toes! Doesn’t sound like this happens a lot from the other reviews, maybe it was an issue with my pair? Love the boots, called Salmon Sisters. My only complaints are that they are a bit long and a bit narrow. I'm hoping that the fleece linings I am buying for them snug up the length just a bit without compromising the narrow portion of the shoe.

I'm years into Xtratuf's - since they were made in the USA so you can tell I mean YEARS - but my use was more for practical purposes (chevron sole is the best for wet surfaces - fishing decks). This is the first time I purchased 'cute' Xtuffs, let alone ones that are short. The short pair is good for quick on and off. Sadly, Tuff's have become more of a China made fashion statement. So now, I have a good chuckle when I see cute young gals who wear their Tuffs with shorts or leggings with skirts and who fold down their knee high XTuffs to show of the inside liner which has become a fashion statement.
