The dress is soft and beautiful. I returned it because I decided on something different for my son's wedding. I am 5'3" and 126 pounds and a size 6 fit great. The reason for the one star is because the seller lowered the price on the day of my return and didn't return to me what I paid, but then raised the price again the next day. Not OK! ... show more

The only reason I didn't keep it is because I'm a MOB, and this dress is a bit fitted, clingy around the hip/buttocks area, a scuba-like material area -- which has some structure and is solid but also quite fitted. Flattering, but it wasn't the style for me for this event. I don't want to look like Jessica Rabbit when it's my daughter's day...but for another event, maybe/probably I would consider this designer/maker for sure. ... show more

At first glance, the gown is absolutely gorgeous. I just couldn’t get past the fact that it’s made of scuba material and the hem is raw. But it’s so pretty, and flattering for the apple body type, that I caved and bought it. The fit is amazing, ladies. It’s structured with boning, and all of the rouching and draping falls so beautifully. If you want to camouflage your tummy and feel pretty without having to hide under a tent of a gown, this is the gown for you! The plus is, it’s machine washable! On my way out I had glob of hand lotion fall down the front of my gown, and I was able to treat it with Shout and wash it in gentle with a low spin and hung it to dry. It dried on the hanger perfectly and I was able to wear it a to a second event and got lots of compliments. Don’t hesitate to buy this gown! You won’t regret it! ... show more
