There are (2)wo types of Lights available on the market today. Visibility Lights OR Projected Light. VL lights are good for identifying yourself to others on the road, or on a moonless night. Projected Light does the job of LV's, but also projects enough light to increase your ability to see the road ahead, and even the sides. These are definitely for Visibility as the intensity was barely noticeable beyond my 25w/ea LED Low Beams. This Spot/Flood combo was more like a diffused flood with no noticeable "spot" ability. The depth of the heatsink is oversized for lamp's performance. 4⭐: Easy to install > I wish the leads were longer for adjustments: (R)ed is Spot periphery, (B)lack is Ground, (Y)ellow is "Flood" center. If you wire (R)+(Y) together, -it strobes. If you wire (B)+(Y) together, both Spot & Flood will turn on. You can also wire (R) and (Y) independently. 3⭐: Brightness > Bright if you look at it, but Projected Light is barely noticeable after 8-10ft. The light that matters,... -is the light that helps you identify pedestrians, animals, and other hazards on the road. 3⭐: Water Resistance > This is disputable. As I was installing Solargard Clearshield to prevent impact damage and fogging to the lens,... part of the installation procedure requires me to submerge the light to apply the protective film. -I had to "drain" the lights for 1.5 days before installing them. -Had me wondering, as it took so long to drain, if water got to the chip board?

They're bright, but one of the two that I bought leaks and has water drops inside the lens. It will only be a matter of time until the LED's die due to this.

The lens on these lights turned milky white, obscuring the brightness. Do yourself a favor and avoid these lights. Don't make me say "I told you so"!
