I originally bought these for the style over the Aero wheelcovers. Incidentally, the night that these were delivered, I had just curbed a wheel really bad; however, the Aero wheelcovers were not touched. This was disappointing that the Tesla wheelcovers didn't protect the edges of the wheels. The instant I put these on, they completely hid the minor damages I did to the edges of the wheels. Only I will know they're damaged now (and everyone reading this review). These will protect the other wheels, and if I or my family members curb the wheels again, only the plastic covers will be damaged. They will be much cheaper and easier to replace. ... show more

High quality and super easy to install. However, it is too tight for me to take them out. Probably it is good if no need to remove them out after installation. If you are going to change the wheel cover very often, please keep in mind that you may need more power to take them out. That's one star i take out for this product. We own a 2023 Model Y and I've made it so the car is nearly all white (door handles, emblem, etc.) and the addition of these all black wheels really make it monochromatic! I've been researching these all black wheel covers for awhile and I finally took a leap and got this brand and I'm really pleased. Some notes: 1) They are really easy to install. I was terrified of breaking my original Tesla caps but a slow careful removal (clip by clip) yielded great results. And these snapped right into place (clip by clip). Just line up the air nozzle and your good. 2) I figured out what the 4 thin strips that come with are for! They go around the outside of the wheel cover to protect it from curbs bumps (see my photos). These wheel covers stick out about 1/4" more than the original ones and they come with 4 small, long 3m sticky padding. Well, they go around the outside of the wheel to protect it. Awesome feature but a warning there are NO directions indicting this. I figured it out on my own; and honestly, I don't even know if i'm right! NOTE: I think it's best to install these long thin strips prior to install. I did it afterword because that's when I figured it out and it was cumbersome. 3) So far they are noiseless and haven't caused any change in the car. However, they are much lighter than the original factory wheel covers. I held on to my originals just in case. 4) They do not come with an emblem. This makes sense. I'm considering ordering some small white stickers to give it some flash. Overall, these are an awesome upgrade and I really like them. I was rather surprised when I discovered that my aunt's model Y had hubcaps. It was extremely expensive, so you'd think it would have alloys like something as fancy as the beater 2005 Toyota Corolla that we have parked in the pole barn for anyone to drive. Well, she damaged the factory junk, so these came to the rescue. You could probably easily remove the original Tesla hubcaps without breaking them. I didn't care since she already curbed her hubcaps. I just tore them off and tossed them in my dumpster. She refused to let me use my forklift to toss the rest of the Tesla in with it. Installation is easy. Fit is perfect. The Tesla itself is junk, but that's not the fault of these hubcaps. Since my aunt (and several other family members) has moved into my big farm house, I now don't have to look at a Tesla with messed up hubcaps in my pole barn every day. Now I get to look at a constantly broken Tesla with nice hubcaps every day. Yaaaaaay. I'll just admire the grand canyon while I'm working on something in there. These are a great replacement for the stock hubcaps and gives the car a sleeker look. I had already taken off the stock hubcaps so it was as easy as clipping the new ones on. The caps feel sturdy and can take a beating. Great replacement if you ever damage the ones that came with the car.
