The weight of the material is a medium weight, not too heavy but definitely not thin. For reference, I'm about 140lbs, 5'4 and 36C/D and generally wear a 6/8 bottom, 8/10 top. The length is about a 29-30inch inseam so may be long for shorter women but works great for me. I have the mom tummy and back rolls but this suit covers all. It's slimming and I feel good in it. The material of this set is soft, comfortable, and feels great for lounging or casual outings. I love the wide leg pants and the overall style—it’s very fashionable and easy to dress up or down. The only downside is that the jacket runs a bit big/long, on me so it doesn’t fit as snugly as I expected. Still, it’s cozy, well-made, and perfect for relaxed days. This seems true to size for me. I ordered my usual Amazon size of XL and the jacket zipped up without pulling anywhere. It’s a super cute interpretation of a two piece set that has been so popular for a couple of years now. The pants are full length, not ankle length.
