I'd been using duct tape over my acrylic router templates but the router is hard to slide when you get it to the tape. I read about this tape on a youtube video and it really is worthwhile. So much easier to use and I had and I had no slipping of the template. Bought 3 rolls but now realize I don't need as much tape as I thought to hold the template steady so it will last a long time. I use this to hold parts on my CNC machine that are difficult to clamp or vacuum down. It's not for heavy machining or meant to replace that, but it's good enough for parts where you're taking reasonably small bites.

Finally decided to try the double sided tape on my wood projects and really like how it works. The hardest thing to do is cutting off strips from the roll. I use scissors and the tape will stick to edge. But using it is easy. The protected side peels off easily. The tape comes off easily when you are ready to remove it from your project. ... show more
