This tape sticks tight, but still removes fairly easily. Wasn't quite the right tape for the project I bought it for, but it's still great tape and will work well for other projects.

Does NOT remove. Destroyed thick plastic tablecloth. I purchased this because it claimed “leaves no residue,” so I mistakenly presumed it was easily removable so I could leave it on the table overnight to train our new cat to loathe jumping on the table. I was skeptical about this tape, but after using it in several projects, I love it!! It does exactly what I need; keeps things in place so they don't fall off tables, pedestals, etc , hold things on walls and comes off clean without harming surfaces, even painted ones. I've used it on wood, ceramic, plastic, vinyl, even some delicate butterflies I needed to stick to the wall. No surfaces were harmed, no residue left and they all peeled off easily.     • Not as advertised, but impressive.
Use a box cutter to cut. Scissors will get gummy after a few cuts. Stretch: it will become difficult to use without pasting up on itself. Advice: Don't stretch. Cut the size you need. Won't stick on cold surfaces. I tried it on my wall AC to stick the remote to it while I wrap it for winter. Remote kept falling off. Remote weighs less than a pound. I'd say the stick level is 6-7. 10 being a heavy duty Command strip, 1 being dollar store gift tape. I wouldn't trust using it on wall hanging phots or paintings larger than 8x10 or heavier than 2-3pounds. Unless you are covering the entire back. ... show more

    • Very Useful Product for Many Applications
I had not seen double sided tape in this width and had to try it. It’s not thin like regular double sided tape, but closer to that of duct tape. It’s great for hanging small items on the wall. I am testing it out to see if after a couple month, it still comes off easily. It is a great alternative to command strips and much less expensive. I just want to make sure we don’t damage the dorm room walls. I like it for under our rugs as well since the typical pads seem to bunch up. Again, much less expensive and it does a better job. Used this product to hang fairly light weight decorations.: The adhesive sticks to the scissors, hard to peel, sticks to itself. The decorations have not consistently stayed on the wall and fall sometime multiple times a day. Tried several methods and nothing has worked for longer than a day. The decorations are tacked up in several places and they take turns falling and then being carefully and creatively reattached. I am looking at one that has just fallen and am in constant dread of another decoration falling. I had to pull tape of at one point from the wall and it removed the stucco ,so now I have a 1.5 inch diameter circle with no stucco on my gray wall. The photo makes this tape look smaller than it is - it's actually quite a large roll. It's nicely sticky, and doesn't seem to leave residue (at least if you pull it up relatively soon; I'm not sure how it would be if you left it for days). Overall a good value. I could see it being used to put up posters in a room, or put together a school project that needs a posterboard. ... show more
