Got these to absorb sweat while working out (no one wants a slippery barbell!) They work really well and do a great job absorbing sweat. I toss them in the wash with my gym clothes and they clean up fine. They are a bit snug, but I think that is a good thing

I can’t believe I had never thought of using sweatbands before. For years, I used a plain towel, but recently came across LYFT-RX’s sweatbands, and they are a game changer. The simplest reason is that the bands stop my hands and wrists from getting sweaty, giving me a better grip on the bar. In effect, the improved grip strength lets me reach higher PRs in weightlifting. Another reason is that the bands make it easier to wipe the sweat off my face. In the past, I would hang my towel nearby, which eats up time and attention. With the LYFT-RX sweatbands, they’re right there, no need to walk over to where my towel is, so my workouts have become more efficient, leading to faster PRs too. It's also nice that the bands serve as a cushion whenever I’m doing overhead kettlebell presses. No more fear of bruising on my arms (or the fear of breaking my wrists, if you’re a bit anxious like me). As a bonus, I also like that the bands come in different colors, including pink, which I bought for the ladies at our box. 5/5 would highly recommend it. ... show more

I think the price is great for two pair. They do work for preventing sweat from running down to my hands, which was the purpose. They didn’t slip and they fit around my wrists well. I think they could be a bit softer though and a little shorter. I like that they weren’t too thick.

These wrist wraps are a huge save when it comes to protecting your wrists when wearing grips for gymnastics. I have leather grips and the wrist piece sits so snug on my wrist that I have actually torn skin and rubbed by wrist raw from rotating my grips around between barbell movements and rig work. To help combat that, I was able to purchase a 2 pack of these wrist protectors that are slim enough to still allow for a snug fit of my grips, but protective enough to avoid a serious wrist burn from the Velcro strap. They are also a huge bonus to wear when handstand walking. My hands and forearms sweat so bad in the summer time and we handstand walk on a gym floor. Sweat on that gym floor is a serious issue for slip n slide. To avoid that, we wear the sweat band and I don’t have to worry about my forearms rolling liquid right into my palm when upside down. I typically use Nike Sweatbands for workouts and Olympic Weightlifting but these Lyft RX Sweatbands are much better!! They absorbed everything during 45+ minute workouts and dried quickly. I like them better too cause the material doesn’t fray after continually wiping sweat or with my grips rubbing on them. They keep my wrists warm for lifting, fit great and honestly just look cool.
