I recently lost weight and I've been needing new jeans since my beloved Lee Riders and Levi's 515's are too big. I automatically bought my two faves and was so disappointed because both styles are now not the type of denim that I consider to be real jeans. The Lee's and the Levi's both fit well and both were only 1% spandex, but the cotton used is flimsy. So the jeans are not only not as durable as real denim, they stick to every cellulite dimple on my backside (there are a fair number of those) and I have to wear hot shapewear underneath to look decent. Kept looking and found these Wranglers that looked like "my style" and I was so excited when I got them - they are real denim. They look great, but they will stand up to a lot of washing and drying as well as rough wear that my other "so-called jeans" won't. Better yet, I don't have to wear Spanx underneath them because the coarser material doesn't insist on outlining every flaw in my less than perfect rear. The fit is great (very similar cut to Lee Riders) although these definitely run large. If you want your jeans tight and you don't put them in the dryer, you can probably get away with a full size lower than you normally wear. I bought my regular size, but washed them in hot and threw them in the dryer on high - perfect! And, hey, they are real denim so they can handle the laundry abuse. I am 5'6" and the average inseam fits great - can wear with flats, but a little extra length to handle 2'" heel sandals. I think average would be OK for 5'4" to 5'8', but adjust accordingly to your leg length and type of shoes you wear. Check the listing of the material content of the color you choose - I noticed that there are some differences in material for the different colors. Totally love these jeans - will be getting more.

Comfortable, fits well, and lightweight. It has a good balance of stretch to support. Great length, soft, and great color as well. Boight them because they were on sale, as it's been a while since I wore Wranglers, but im pleased with the changes the brand has made in jeans for plus sized women. Would purchase again.

Loved these jeans! New favorite! Fit GREAT - NOT SUPER TIGHT! Bought 2 pairs! However, the fine print should read that they only last about a a month or two. Ripped - just like the other comments. Ripped in the crotch. Ripped around the back pockets. Ripped by the belt loops. There goes 94 bucks I will never see again.

First pair I got in August was an 18 although I have gained weight and needed a 20. All reviews stated buy one size smaller so I thought 18 would work. It fit just right around the waist (had difficulty buttoning as the button hole was a bit small) but it sagged too much in the crotch area making me look like I had a cow udder hanging underneath my stomach. The legs fit fine and although I ordered 'short' length, it looked to be about a 2-3 inches too long and I just didn't want to have pay someone to alter them. I didn't try it on with heels or boots but I only wear those when I go out on the town and 1 to 1 1/2 inch shoes is what I normally wear at work. Fabric was sturdy and soft so I really liked that aspect. I returned them for an exchange to size 16 which was perfect fit even in the crotch.....but......couldn't button them over my tummy (If I had another inch I would have been able to). Several weeks later I ordered another 18 short as I have not had a chance to drive into town to find them to try on. Was I surprised! This 18 short fit great everywhere (a bit saggy in crotch area but not like the first pair I tried) and was the perfect length. Bottom line.......if you are ordering more than one pair, they are not consistent in fit. I really want to order a second pair but am dubious. September 26th I finally wore them to work and after 3 hours, the butt sagged, the crotch sagged and I was constantly having to grab the waist and pull them up. I am so upset as I cannot send them back now. All reviews said they fit great, wear through the day without losing shape and several reviews said you could wear them a couple of times. Obviously this isn't the case. Over all, I think I would give them a 4 as the fabric is very sturdy and soft but $40 for a pair of pants that bag all over after a few hours wear is too much.

These jeans are incredibly comfortable with a soft, flexible fabric that feels great all day long. The fit is flattering and provides a nice shape, but they do run just a tad big. If you prefer a snugger fit, consider sizing down. Overall, they’re perfect for casual wear or dressing up, and the quality is excellent. Definitely a new favorite in my wardrobe!

I really like how these fit me, they're slimming and pretty comfortable. However, after about a year and a half, they ripped in the same place that a lot of others are reporting, by the back pocket. I'm not sure when this happened, hopefully everyone didn't see my undies, but as a Wrangler brand for women, you'd think they'd know where the reinforcement is needed. We have butts and hips, plan accordingly.

After gaining a lot of weight during Covid and then being sick the next year and then in a car accident the following year (yes it's been a hard few years) I couldn't fit into my wranglers without jumping up and down about 5 times. Usually one hop is good; two hops I better cut out the chips; after 3 hops I know it is time to stop the burgers. But 5 hops?!!! Oh my! I decided instead of waiting for the weight to drop (which for healthy weight loss it takes time) I decided to buy these Wranglers in a size larger than I normally wear. I think they run a bit larger because I had room and too much room in the thighs. I have a boy figure, so my waist is as large as my hips so I need a larger waist and thin thighs and hips. But they were comfortable and decided I will keep them. They don't come any longer and I normally wear a length of 36 or 38 when I can find them. So if you want comfort and a roomy thigh and waist this is a great pant for you. Be careful though because they do run a bit larger than normal Wranglers.
