This is my third or fourth time buying Wranchers, so clearly I like them. But they are like a box of chocolates- never know what you're going to get, even from purchase to purchase. I wear a 30-32 in the waist, depending on the designer and the kind of fit I want from them. But I knew from experience that these can be pretty unpredictable and don't care about your vanity. Thank goodness for Amazon try before you buy. 32 was TIGHT, 33 was still uncomfortable, 34 was pretty good, 35 was full mobility. The waist on these doesn't soften and mold itself to you over time like denim, so it's important that you get a size that will let you bend and move completely from the start. With all that said, I dig these pants. Flattering cut, especially if you're compulsively in cowboy boots like me. The high waist is very comfortable once you're sized right. Not too weird wearing them casually (although the permanent crease comes off a little formal), and easy to dress up with a tucked shirt and blazer. I like the look and feel. They are a good product. However, the waist size is way smaller than other jeans even though they say they are the same. All my jeans are 38, I had to end up with a 42. It is pretty odd.

    • Dad would wear the same thing every day

Dad is a creature of habit. He always wears the same outfit that he wore the previous day unless I grab his clothes & toss them in the wash. I bought dad these pants to give him something else to put on & they fit great. The only problem is that they are straight legged pants. I didn't think anything of it until dad explained. At his age, he just isn't limber like he once was. So although putting the pants on is relatively easy, taking them back off at the end of the day, is extremely difficult. So Iooked at his favorite pants, looked at the tags inside to see what size they were along with any other information they contained. Although the brand of pants continues making tons of styles, the particular style he likes are now considered "Vintage" from 1969 & 1970. It was difficult, but I found two pairs in his size in different colors. If only these pants were bootcut like the ones he loves to wear, they would have been perfect! ... show more

These pants have quickly became a staple in my wardrobe. I already have a pair of the brown ones and I just ordered a pair in black as well. I receive compliments all the time. They do run small, I would go at least one if not two sizes up. The material is more of a twill/chino as compared to a denim, so it can be worn for more formal occasions as well. ... show more

    • Love the cut,. Hate the extremely cheap material, the low thread count, and the shallow pockets.

I absolutely love the cut and style of these pants. I think they look great. I wish I could get all my pants in this same cut. HOWEVER, that is where the praise stops. The rest is terrible and I returned them. First, they don't have a stretchy waistband like all my other Wranglers, which I find I sorely miss, and that also meant I had to get them one size larger than my other Wranglers, and that they are less comfortable in the waist. Secondly, my big issue with them is the material. It feels like burlap. I mean obviously it isn't, but it is NOT a nice feeling or comfortable material AT ALL. The material feels really rough, stiff, really cheap, and extremely unpleasant in comparison. It is also slightly see through if you hold it up to a light so the thread count of the cloth is extremely low. You can clearly see the gaps in the threading. This was deeply disappointing since I do love the style of them so much. I just wish they didn't feel so low quality because of it. It says they are made out of polyester so I was really expecting them to be soft and comfortable and they are just the complete opposite of that. Lastly, the biggest dealbreaker, was that with pretty much anything in the pockets such as my phone or wallet, I couldn't sit down with them on because the pockets are too shallow. I am really wondering if they switched up the cloth they use and that is why these are so cheap in comparison to the other Wrangler "Dress Jeans" and why I didn't see a ton of negative comments mentioning this terrible material. Size: 33W x 30L Color: Brown
The quality is great. Material feels sturdy. Waist is too tight. I typically wear 33 x30. For these, I am guessing a 35 x30 would probably fit better. Will reorder at larger size. I like the look and feel.
