  • Ripped at seam in less then 2 months.
Size: 38W x 32L Color: Rocky Top
First of all let me start by saying I am not a farmer or do any type of labor intensive job. I have about 8-10 pairs of jeans and rotate through them. Which means I have probably only worn this particular pair a few times. In just over two months of ownership of these jeans the back left pocket ripped at the seams when I was pulling my wallet out. No I am not the Hulk. No I do not work out and have some kind of incredible strength. No I did not blast my hand into the pocket at full speed. Just simply put my hand in the pocket and they ripped at the seam. Obviously just a defective pair but none the less I am very dissatisfied the a $40 pair of 'Wranglers' ripped after just two months of ownership. ... show more

  • Wrangler has changed their traditional design - disappointing
I have always purchased Wrangler jeans for their unique design where the double seam is on the outside and a fell seam was on the inside. It's considered the western design dating back for decades. I have returned my pair and wrote to Wrangler to learn that they decided to change their design. They directed me to the cowboy cut only to be disappointed once again where the inside seam is now a single seam (not a fell seam). It appears Wrangler no longer wishes to be true western wear and unique in the market. It's too bad their management and/or design team who made these decisions respects the tradition. ... show more

  • Not the same quality you used to get.
Not at all the same as previous years 47MWZ jeans! The cut, quality, size, and even denim is not the same as it used to be. Cut: These jeans are very loose and baggy in the leg and seat. My older 47MWZ’s are not this way. Quality: The denim is probably half the weight of my older jeans. Comparing the stitching and other details it is obvious, they have clearly cheaped out. I would not expect this new light weight denim to last past a year in work jeans. Size: I wear 36/30 jeans. I have 7 pairs of these exact make and model of jeans from several years back. They fit wonderfully. And the cut is perfect. These new jeans are about 1-1.5 sizes too small in the waist. And probably 2 ish sizes too long in the inseam. I do not know what happened to Wrangler. But it is apparent that they have sold out to cheap manufacturing, cheap materials, and poor quality control. It feels like I got a very bad knock off of Wranglers! Which is sad!! I got over 5 years of service from my previous 47MWZ’s as work jeans. And was highly impressed with them. Thought I was gonna be a Wrangler guy from here on out. But after seeing the sad example for jeans that I received this go around. I think I’ll move on to other manufacturers. ... show more

  • Do not buy!
Size: 30W x 32L Color: Portland
Buyer beware! Do not buy these!!! They are so cheaply made, the first time I wore them the belt loop ripped. Exchanged that pair. The fourth time I wore the replacement the entire side of the back pocket ripped out completely and the rip shows my underwear. I was on a trip and just missed the return window. You can get better made pants at Walmart for less than $20. Terribly made product at a high price. ... show more

  • Ripped in multiple places
Size: 34W x 34L Color: Portland
I've owned Wranglers almost my whole life. I was a team roper and bull rider in my teens so I know how capable Wranglers are. I decided to try these 'vintage' jeans and was VERY pleased by the fit. Actually, I would say they are the best fitting jeans I own but that is where the positive review stops. I am no longer in rodeo, nor am I on a farm running barbed wire. I mostly wear these jeans around the house or out with my wife for dinner. Oh and I own two pair, one I bought locally at Tractor Supply and the other pair I bought here on Amazon. After only a few times of wearing the jeans, I noticed a small hole near the top corner of the back pocket. I didn't think much of it but within a couple of more wears, that hole became a giant rip. So I put them aside and stopped wearing them, with the intent of contacting Wrangler. Then I noticed, that tiny hole was in my other jeans as well. After further investigation, I found another rip at the belt loop. The jeans I am showing are the ones I bought from Amazon. I had reached out to Wrangler and was told to send them back with the receipt and they would evaluate the jeans and either return my jeans if the fault was my own or send me a new pair in 8 weeks! I decided I don't have time for that and pulled out some thread and needle to repair them (you can see this in the first photo). Well, that didn't hold as the fabric in the jeans is thin and the elastic makeup caused the stitch to pop. Well, I already had them on and wasn't planning to go anywhere except do a brake job on my truck. I crouched down and heard a loud rip, I thought, welp, there went that stitch but to my surprise, it ripped in the crotch this time. These jeans are NOT tight on me nor do I have any trouble buttoning them. They are just poorly made. Oh and don't expect Wrangler to step up after you send them photos of the rips, photos of the tag and a copy of the receipt. They expect you to send in your pants and wait 8 weeks. Wrangler used to be known for their quality jeans but these retro jeans are trash. DO NOT BUY! ... show more

  • The best Jeans ever made
I have worn Cowboy Cut Wranglers for 55 years. I tried Cinch and they are just not well made. These wranglers will last for 15 years in hard working conditions and they look great. They fit perfect and easily over my boots that I wear daily. If you are used to the designer style jeans it might take you a minute to get used to these because they are cut different, but they are so much better than designer jeans. Once you wear these you won't ever go back to the cheap made designer jeans. These are not prewashed so they are sort of stiff. Just wash them in cold water about 4 or 5 times without drying and use a softener if you like softer jeans. When you dry them dry on cool tumble dry or they can tighten up. they will get loose again but to avoid the problem just cool dry. or take them to the cleaners and get light starch or no starch and they will dress up nice. by far the best jeans made. They will out last your designer jeans by 10 or more years easily. ... show more
