I first wore Wrangler jeans in 1988. It was a 13 WMZ. They cost an unimaginable amount of money 300 dollars . After that, I bought more than one pair, but they became different. Fabric: instead of the ledge fabric-regular denim.. not very dense. Model names: instead of 13WMZ 47wmz - Wrangler Texas, Wrangler Arizona. I thought that all Wrangler buyers around the world were facing this. But the price dropped to just $ 100. Accidentally looked in the jeans section on Amazon... What do I see? I can't believe my eyes. Wonderful, ultra-durable pants with a classic fit, made of eternal fabric that only gets better and more beautiful after each wash are sold for only $ 40 ?!!!! It turns out that only for Eurasia sew jeans Wrangler Texas, and Americans still wear real Wrangler. Today they were delivered to me in 7 days. I feel like a birthday boy. This miracle was given to me by Amazon and Wrangler. Of course, my personal memories of those first jeans are more overlaid here. But both companies are worthy of all respect and admiration: Amazon-to deliver an ordinary package to the opposite side of the planet in 7 days, and Wrangler-to follow the traditions and produce one model for 70 years. Question for the American buyer: what is 34 inches? You say 34 inches, or 86 cm! No! In European jeans, it can be 32 inches.. or 35... or 33 ... but not 34!. Probably this is our European tradition ))) I attached a photo with the analog 47WMZ-Wrangler Texas. I like the exact size of American Wrangler jeans. 34 inches is always 34 ) Now about the sad. Quality. Buying standard jeans for 20 dollars I am ready to meet the defect. But the Premium brand must be Premium. Threads stick out, there is no convergence of seams, the seams are uneven... It's like giving a bitten-off birthday cake. But still... a wonderful classic in the world of jeans - 47 WMZ. Wrangler jeans have always fit me better than Levi's or other jeans. That's just my shape from when I was a 30" waist to now when it's 36". As I cannot lengthen my inner leg size and my waist ain't ever gonna shrink back 6 inches slimmer I will stay with the brand that has always felt the best from new to knee-less.     • Great jeans, inconsistent fit
Updated 2015 after ordering 3rd pair: I liked my 1st pair well enough to order a second pair, which was considerably tighter in waist and legs than my first pair (same model/cut, color, and I did check the size on the pants, which was identical). I returned it and lowered my review. A few months later I ordered a 3rd pair, which matches the original in fit, comfort and quality. Maybe I just received a flawed pair, but I'm happy with two out of the three I've received. Updated 2015 after ordering a 2nd pair: I'd written the review below after buying my first pair from Amazon about 6 months ago, which were perfect: fit great, looked good, held up very well. After accidentally spraying some diesel fuel on them (which takes forever to air out), I took the opportunity to order a 2nd pair without hesitation. I was very disappointed to find that, where the first ones fit perfectly, the new pair are unacceptably tight. Not just in the waist, also in the legs... I could barely pull them up past my thighs. I've compared the labels on both jeans: identical in all numbers. I don't know whether the first ones were too large, or the new ones too small, but one thing's for sure: they are very inconsistent. Original 2014 review: A formerly loyal Levi's buyer, I finally got sick of my Levis falling apart after a few months of use. I've tried other brands (Gap, LL Bean, Cabelas), but was never satisfied with non-Levis brands. These, though, are perfect. I can't speak to the durability yet, but the fit, feel, and look are just right. They seem worth the extra few $. ... show more

These jeans are nice - nice enough to wear as "dress jeans" with a blazer, but not afraid of work, either. They're about twice the cost of the big box store grade of Wranglers, but they're definitely a higher quality grade compared to those. The fabric is sturdy, there are seven (7), yes, seven belt loops, all of the pockets are roomy, and the fit throughout is perfect (I ordered the size I normally purchase from the big box stores). I purchased the dark blue denim prewashed version of these jeans and after one cycle of washing, they've kept the dark color (didn't bleed in the wash), and the sizing hasn't changed. ... show more

I am a tall, skinny ,long-legged guy in a land of short, stout dudes (we'll call it "Florida"). My problem is NOT that I can find a 28" waist. I can just go to the boy's department of any store. My inseam is 36". That's the problem. I have been living without long pants for the past 10 years because NO STORE anywhere has 28" x 36" pants. Even Walmart doesn't know there are guys like me out here. They think that all the guys are short and wide. I was about to give up looking. Until on the off chance one April night, while the wind was howling outside, I searched on my laptop for 28" x 36" jeans. Most of the jeans I viewed lied to me. The highest inseam they had were 34". Which would be fine if I were looking for knee-knockers. Then I happened onto these jeans. The last time I ordered clothing through Amazon - they were skin tight jeans. I couldn't wear them and drive at the same time. So I was skeptical about this pair - and they are only twenty bucks?? What's the catch??? There was no catch. The jeans came in AND THEY FIT! I am skeptical no more. I have long pants again! I wish they came in more colors than this one mustard color - but it'll do. I'm going to order a second pair. Maybe a third. This was a terrific buy. I don't care what anyone says about Amazon - it's where I found pants. So it's the place I'll be going to shop. And thank you Wrangler for making pants in MY size.     • The Best Jeans on the Market
47MWZ are the best jeans on the market, but you have to get them in rigid/unwashed denim! Trust me on this. Order the size you usually wear in Levi's. No need to size up, because they come sized up already. Just wash them in hot water (yes, I said HOT) two or three times and then a tumble in the dryer and they come out perfect. They still look dark with just slight fading on the creases (you can probably even avoid that by turning them inside out first) but they're now soft and ready to wear. Wear them, don't wash them that often. Try only spot-cleaning the first month or so if you drip mustard on them or something. As long as you don't sweat like a pig in them and then roll around in the mud (with the pigs, obviously), you should be able to wear 'em with minimal washing and they'll last forever. Order them a little long and you can fold/roll them up at the bottom and wear with boots. Crazy how comfy and cool these are while still being nice, tough denim. And cheap! ... show more

As a retired woman,I have always had fit issues because I am petite5'3"with a short torso and an hourglass shape. Because my waist goes in abruptly jeans usually[more like always} gap severely,.so wearing a belt is necessary but the waist bunches. My go to jean has always been Levis 501, not perfect but the best I could find. I think Levi has some problems with accurate sizing. I decided to try something sort of radical, cowboy jeans! When I tried the first pair on I was in love. An impeccable fit! I had to figure out why so I compared them to my 501s. The front zipper in the Wraglers is shorter than the button up area in the 501 by about a whole inch, and the back center belt loop has an extra loop on each side. Seems reasonable when riding a bronc or a bull! The shorter front closure length solves the problem of baggyness in the crotch. The result is a jean that has a close fit where it is needed and has straight legs for ease of movement. I am active and crouch down frequently and these wranglers make it effortless. Must mention the heavy weight of the denim itself. Heavier than Levi's 501 and noticeably warmer. Best fit EVER in a pair of jeans. Thank you Wrangler, I am so grateful to have found these jeans. I bought 3 pairs! It is easy for me to see why an active cowboy would always have an easy choice to make. Paticia ... show more
