  • Good value in my opinion, compared to other brands in the price range.
Size: 34W x 29L Color: Rigid Indigo
Used to wear 13MWZs exclusively when I owned a ranch. This is the first pair I have bought in the last 20 years or so. What I like is that there has been no change in the color, comfort, style, denim weight or fit and finish of these jeans. Quality of fabrication (Mexico) is good. What I don't like is the denim seems to be woven less tight than it used to be. Will the denim be as durable as in the past? 13MWZ jeans used to be super-tough and took any chore you could throw at them from livestock handling to fencing. We'll see if my perception about the weave is correct but for now 4-stars. Update 08Mar24: To the question of fabric change, I went online to check if indeed, the fabric weave of this product has changed. I read that Wrangler updated the weave of the 100% cotton fabric to allow movement of the fabric strands during flexing and washing. Allegedly the service life of the 20x and 13MWG may be extended up to 2-years. As per other reviews, yes the old rigid fabric has been replaced . Whoa is me, I prefer the true rigid fabric. The jeans lasted long enough and did not sag and bag during wearing like the new version. I detest comfort jeans with flex or synthetic add-ins to get products soft and stretchy out of the box...this is for pussy cats. I want a man's jean.I will maintain 4-stars as the jeans function as advertised. Please Wrangler, build the 13MWZ as before. If it ain't broke...don't fix it. Oh, for you guys whining about color fade, always wash your jeans inside out. The color will hold longer. Wash cold, hang to dry. Update 05Apr24. These jeans are so good for motorcycle riding I bought a second pair. After several washings, no shrinkage, no unraveling and no fit/shape change. From 4-stars to 5-stars. ... show more

  • Quality & Durability
Size: 35W x 34L Color: Rigid Indigo
I buy these for my husband who has been wearing them for over 20 years,He likes the original cowboy bootcut,He doesn’t like pre washed,The color is a nice deep blue, the stitching is good he has never had any issues with that,They are of course very stiff I wash them once and they are softer but not much which is what he likes,He switched from Levi’s which he wore since he was a teenager mainly because of the price and quality,Wrangler’s fit him very well they are not to short in the crotch he is long waisted 6’2 I buy him 35x34’s and they’re a perfect fit they don’t shrink after washing and drying and the color holds up well but will start to fade eventually but that’s it they still hold up well with the stitching, I would and he says he would recommend the wranglers for durability 100%,I hope this helps anyone considering purchasing these,Like I said they are durable and the quality is good…When trying to add the size to the guide it wouldn’t let me but like I said my husband is 6’2 the guide wouldn’t let me go pass 5’4,He’s 225 lbs. ... show more

  • Good Jeans
Size: 46W x 32L Color: Rigid Indigo
I just purchased more because they are like $8 cheaper than anywhere else. Wrangler has so many different styles and fits that you need to know what you need to get. Ok example Ariat M4 I wear 42x32, on cinch black label same 40x32. Wrangler 20x relaxed 40x32, on the wrangler 13MWZ pre-washed indigo, stoned washed tan and all other washes 44x32 these don’t shrink much. For the wrangler 13MWZ rigid indigo 46x32 they do shrink but not that much. So rigids after the initial treatment they shrink to a 45x31 the only thing if you know the original cowboy cut these are high rise jeans so they go higher up on the waist, the thighs are relaxed but not straight leg, they stack on boots(depending on the stack you want that is how long you get them) I do like stacked jeans but not a lot of material. Because of the larger size I get on these jeans the waist is fine, the length is fine but the thighs feel a little more loose, but I have tried the 44x32 and they feel tight after I shrink and break them in. They are easy to break in for the first wear, this is what I do. Flip the jeans inside out( this is the only way you should be washing jeans)I wash them on the heavy cycle with hot water, then dry them in dryer on hot cycle. Get them out throw them in the washer again same hot cycle, get them out dry again in hot cycle. The first two rounds no laundry detergent the 3 round I add detergent and a dryer sheet on the dryer, I don’t complete the last dryer cycle I take them out after 10 minutes and air dry them. After you do this they are way softer they have shrunk enough and fit way better. So if you want a tighter fit go with your regular size, if you like a little space go up one size. They will shrink just a bit more after that but it is not very noticeable. Ok now that they are ready, wear them a couple of times before you wash them again if they start to smell air them out. If you don’t stink them up go as many wears as you can. Next time you need to wash them flip them inside out zipped them up button them up throw them in the delicate cycle with cold water setting with very little detergent try not to use laundry softener. Take them out of washer and air dry them inside your house, try not to sun dry. If you need to use dryer on an emergency use the lowest setting possible. They last a while and better if you have several pairs on rotation I always have 5-6 pairs on rotation so they don’t get washed often once they need washing I get another 5-6 pairs an start rotation on those. I have pairs that are pretty old. You dye these pants if you need to but the natural worn use gives them personality. ... show more

  • Good looking men's jeans
Size: 52W x 32L Color: Indigo Rigid
These jeans are rugged enough for work yet nice enough to wear out on the town. The size is true. The color doesn't run. Very well made.

  • PSA on sizing for these jeans
Size: 32W x 32L Color: Rigid Indigo
When I ordered these jeans I didn’t see any reviews on how the sizing would be, both here and online, so this was my experience. Amazon recommended when I ordered these I get the 32x32, generally Amazon is pretty spot on with the sizes so I pulled the trigger. These were incredibly big on me when I got them, probably 3-4 inches too long in the legs and waste. I considered returning them, but decided I would try washing them to see if they would shrink. 3 washes later and they fit like a glove. My recommendation is that if you order these and they are too big, wash them and dry them HOT, and then check to see if they fit yet. Repeat until they are about what you want. TLDR; Good jeans, wash them dry them HOT if they are too big. ... show more
