The media could not be loaded. All I could say is, these are the best bubbles on the market I have tried at home concoctions and other bubbles, and none of them seem to work to make the giant bubbles as well as these. They are so colorful and strong bubbles. I didn’t capture it on video but most of the bubbles that I was doing were at least 7 feet long. I would definitely recommend these to anybody, and I will definitely be purchasing more but I do wish they were a little bit less expensive as I wish I could use it way more often than I could afford right now, but I will be purchasing more in the future, and it is a must for any child’s birthday party or play dates. It took us a really long time to get the bubbles big. Even with multiple packets, we had to add extra soap from the kitchen. The mixture just doesn’t work properly. The tools, however, are in good condition and once we figured out the bubble part, the kids had a great time.

I've tried a variety of homemade bubble solutions, and was relieved to find that this one just seems to work. It's essentially hassle-free except for adding a little water to the solution in your own bucket or bowl. Even our toddler (age 2) granddaughter could blow bubbles after some practice (a gentle breeze helps a lot). The design of the wand makes it easy to hold onto, and the thick cord on the bubble wand is much less prone to tangling than other wands I've tried. I'm hesitant to say whether the wand or the bubble solution is the key innovation in this product. We thought both were well-designed, and we've never tried this solution when it didn't provide lots of giant, beautiful bubbles. Here's the process: Empty the contents of the pouch into a large bucket or bowl (a bucket that holds at least a half-gallon), then add a quart of water. Once out of doors, you simply dip the two-handled wand in the solution and then with one handle in each hand, you lift the wand away from the bucket spreading the wand handles apart so that a film of soap builds in the center "circle." If there is a breeze, the wind will do the work, but otherwise, you simply move the wand through the air so the bubbles will form. I found that I could "close" a long, tubular bubble by moving the handles back together. Giant bubbles aren't rocket science, but this kit takes a lot of the "guesswork" out of the whole process. It helps if you understand a little bit about "bubble physics," which may have been the issue for some that have given the product a 1-star review. Bubbles are simply water molecules encased in a film of soap, so if the water evaporates quickly, the bubbles aren't going to last. This isn't an issue with the quality of the product, it's an issue with the weather. Bubbles will last longer and float higher under more humid conditions. If humidity is very low and the outside air is very dry, you're going to have trouble with any bubble solution, so keep that in mind. A really stiff wind may also make this experience sub-par. I've had enough luck with this kit that I've started giving it away as a birthday present. For your own home, you'll want to purchase some refill packs as well, since you'll use this a lot at family barbecues, birthday parties, and afternoons at the park or beach. ... show more

For the 4th of July holiday we took this product to the beach. Setting it up was very quick and easy. We used tap water (not sea water) to mix with the enclosed packet of bubble mix. Although we didn't see any enclosed tips on use, it was not necessary as it was as easy as dipping it in, holding it up high and slowly spreading the two wands apart. We found the best bubble came from not spreading the wands apart completely as they seem to break the bubble after about shoulder width apart. There was not much of a breeze, but the bubble caught anyway and off it went! Easy enough for my 4 year old granddaughter to do herself, much to her delight! We got huge bubbles that were not as long as the pictures but still really awesome! Some of the smaller ones even kept their shape when they touched down on the beach! I think if we had the book with tips the bubbles could have been bigger since we had zero experience and all the fun was solely done by a 4 year old. : ) Other beach goers had a blast watching and she became an instant hit getting more attention than the fireworks! We did buy another kind of bubble mix from another company with the same results but the other company required an additional ingrediant of dish soap while this company had an easier all in one mix. The additional bubbles would not have been necessary as the enclosed mix had more than enough for hours of bubble blowing but alas it was tipped over. The wands and rope seem very sturdy even for rough and tumbler toddler use but if it should break I will immediately buy another because this is just FUN!!
