If you're looking at this bat (2025 Worth Bedlam 2-piece, Balanced, 27 oz.) you probably know the Bedlam line and how they are the next in line for hot bats. Well, yes and yes, the 2025's don't disappoint, they have a gloss finish and maybe this is part of the reason the barrels don't feel as soft as the 2024's. I normally swing end loaded bats for U-Trip only straying away from this style when I play USA/ASA, as I love the way the mid-load Monsta's feel. This was casually brought up in a conversation with my (U-Trip) teammate, he told me to try swinging his balanced Worth Bedlam, going up a size in weight, so that balanced weighting feels like a mid-load. So normally swinging a 26 oz. end load bat I went to the 27 oz. balanced and surprisingly it's the same thing I love about the Monsta's ... Great pop, huge sweet spot, and you don't have to swing out of your shoes to hit bombs. After swinging my buddies bat for the entire tournament I decided that was enough research, so now instead of having a long barreled end load in the bag as my #2, I swapped it out for the balanced Bedlam, and haven't looked back. ... show more

Very cute bat but I was confused at first when I ordered it. I thought my daughter could use it and now I see it’s certainly more for a man playing softball. I’ve been getting back into softball and wanted a bat that wouldn’t punish my joints but still let me drive the ball. This one struck the right balance. At 27 oz and 34 inches, the weight works well for someone around 5'10" and 180 lbs. If you’re new to the game, it’s not too heavy to manage, but it still delivers good pop if your timing is on. The handle is a composite material with a nice grip that doesn’t slip, even when my hands get sweaty. You do get that “crack” sound when you make clean contact, and the bat transfers energy well without buzzing up your arms. The barrel length gives a bigger hitting zone, which has helped me stay confident at the plate. It’s especially good if you're still fine-tuning your timing or not consistently hitting the sweet spot. I’d say this is ideal for casual to intermediate players who want a bat that helps you swing effectively. The graphics are also sharp, not flashy, but clean and modern. I've been playing on my church league team - It's a low pressure league and my team has been mostly playing with old, hand-me-down bats. We haven't won a game all year. Until, that is, I showed up last night with this bat. It's an incredible that, and perhaps there's some sort of placebo effect going on, too - I don't know. But I can't tell you that our team rallied and won both games in a double header! There's definitely something to be said for bat technology. I can't put my finger on exactly what the difference is, but this that just really puts the power through to the ball. Even the sound when the bat and ball connect is different. Whatever they're putting into these bats is a real game changer, and the difference was clearly evident in our game last night! ... show more

The Bedlam bats are great quality bats. This one is no different. The weight feels good, it sounds great when you hit the sweet spot, and the grip is comfortable. Plus, it looks fantastic! Graphics are solid.

It is amazing how much technology actually goes into a bat. Go to youtube and check some videos of these new bats verses ones from 30 years ago. Same swing will get you another 20% or more distance.
