The assembly directions were some of the best we have ever seen. There are a lot of parts so it took 3 hours to assemble but without the frustration is often encountered with these type of kits. The item was delivered in 2 boxes. One box was damaged and the seller expedited resending it. The seller was responsive and easy to work with. The finished product looks great and is sturdy. I highly recommend this. I bought this to re-organize my garage for more storage and efficient use of space. All of my workbenches are mobile, although this will be kept in one place. I did some price comparisons for 48” plus units with drawers, and this was by far the least expensive. I also needed something now, although I plan to retrofit my homemade workbenches to add drawers, which is time consuming. My use is for woodworking, not auto repair. Here’s the breakdown: Pros: Max surface space. 52” wide (not including the handles, which I didn’t put on) and its depth makes this worktop space the largest in its price point. Units that are larger are about $500 more, and quite frankly are too large for my home garage. The worktop space makes it perfect to do actual work on. Solid quality: I was a little concerned that I was going to get junk, because it wasn’t a $1100+ unit, but I’m very pleased with it. The drawers come “pre folded” and I was worried, but once I got it together, it’s solid. Take care in putting the drawers into the pre-installed slides: I damaged one by forcing it, but once I took it apart, I realized that it was “user error”. They’ll go in fine, just gently re-adjust the angle of entry instead of forcing them in. No issues with the other drawers. Power strip on the side: clearly, I’m old, but this is an absolute game changer for me. What a great idea! I have one outlet near it, and now I don’t need to use a 3 prong extension cord. Shelves and drawers: love the combo. The storage space is more than I’d hoped for. This one unit has cleaned up half my garage. Side bumpers. That’s a nice touch. No scratches from the walls of my garage. Cons: Very minor. The first is that while I tried to keep the worktop padded from the floor during assembly, my space was limited and unfortunately a rogue screw got between the floor and the top and somewhat chewed up a little part of the wood, from the weight. In as much as I expect that I’ll rough up the wood top from use, and that it can be sanded or planed down, I don’t really care. Just use more caution than I did. It looks like there’s some kind of treatment on it, but if you want it to stay perfect, you’ll need to put spar or poly or shellac on it. The second con is that there is an absolute over abundance of packaging, and I couldn’t find the baffle for hours. It’s meant to keep the powder coat from scratching (which is really solid), but man was it annoying. Second, one of the magnets was either missing or I lost it in the piles of sleeves and boxes, hard to say, but the door shuts fine with just one. Notes: One review was spot on in reminding users to “lock” the wheels before flipping the finished unit over. I did the whole assembly myself, and flipped it upright myself without bending or damaging the walls, but if you can find someone for the 10 seconds it takes to flip it right side up, ask for help. Assembly itself is fine, although the bolts for the wheels are better attached with a spanner than a socket wrench. This is well worth the money.

I recently bought and assembled the WORKPRO 52” rolling cabinet/tool chest and am very impressed with the quality of the materials included and the design. The cabinet weighs close to 200 pounds and has a 1000 pound capacity and that is the first clue to the fact that it is heavy duty. It was very well packaged and arrived without damage. it comes in 2 boxes and is assembled upside down with the sides, back and then bottom all attached with bolts that screw into threaded rivets. Seemed pretty solid to me, but then the casters tie the bottom together with some larger bolts and the same with the handles adding extra strength. The drawers use high quality ball-bearing sliders, including the bottom large drawer that uses 2 sets of sliders on each side of the drawer. And I should add that very nice drawer liners were included. The working surface is made from a fairly thick finger-jointed wood and is a perhaps a little higher than ideal for some people, e.g. for use with a router table, but it was just fine for me as I am taller than most.
Pro tip on assembly: after attaching the sides and the back to the top surface which at that point is on the floor, and adding the 4 heavy-duty casters, the instruction say to turn the unit upright with the help of one or more others. The tip is to make sure the wheels on the casters are locked so they won’t turn, as when you try and lift the unit upright and on to the wheels, it will start rolling away from you. Can be exciting! Had it a few weeks now and very pleased.
