Bought this in red for a black tie wedding and was pleasantly surprised in the fit. I'm 5'-1" 115 lbs and the small fit perfectly, didn't even have to get it hemmed. My only complaint the V neck was a little too much coverage as oppositely depicted in the photo but overall great dress.

Bought for a friends wedding I was attending. Got so many compliments and nominated best dressed! This dress is very comfortable and to my surprise…stretchy! I would still say stay true to size. As other reviews have said, it’s a great dress for the shorter ladies. I am 5’3” ..wore heels and it was perfect! Normally I would have had to get dress alterations to make it shorter but not with this one. It was perfect! Another added bonus is it hides bra straps perfectly. Purchased for an evening wedding reception. Found out the event was formal (black tie, high end location, etc.), so I wore a formal gown. I very much liked the dress. Nice fabric, decent stitching, good length (hem came to top of the toes of my 3" pumps...I am 5'6"). Oh, 2 other women were wearing this dress...one had the navy and the other was wearing the burgundy. They were not in close proximity to each other do I am probably the only one who noticed. Lovely colors and works for different body types. Very comfortable. I am glad I wore a different dress as I had planned on wearing the navy or the burgundy... I purchased both colors.) ... show more

    • Amazing Dress, Felt So Good In It!

I got this dress for a formal event for my husbands work. I absolutely love it and it felt amazing to wear. I am 5'5", 157 lbs and 34G and I ordred a large and that was the perfect fit. I struggle with formal dresses because I just can't manage to wear a strapless all evening with my chest size. With this dress, I could wear a normal bra with no issues! I wore shape wear to smooth it out and it felt like this dress fit like a glove. It had some stretch to it but still fit my shape nicely. The only thing I would say to watch is when I sat down it did feel like the slit in the leg went up really high. I had a wrap I wore with this dress and I just put it over my legs (also because the venue was cold) so it covered the slit. But just something to consider with this dress. Overall this dress gets 10 stars from me. It can also be machine washed instead of dry cleaned which is a huge plus! ... show more

It's stretchy but a little tight on the chest. It's not that flattering on me. But It's a solid dress. The cut it good to have modesty.
