One issue I had was that the dress rotated/ shifted around at the waist and the seams didn't line up on the sides and back, so many times through the night I felt like I needed to readjust my dress. I was nicely surprised with the quality of the product. I never bought an evening dress on line, without seeing/touching the fabric and trying the product on. I decided to take my chances. The dress is very well made and has very nice/flattering fit. The fabric is a little stretchy, and it's not flimsy/thin, so it holds shape very well. I bought a Small, I'm 5ft, 104lbs. It fit very well (not tight). My only problem was that it was very long (even with me wearing high heel shoes) and needed to be professionally shortened. But I can't blame the product. I bought this dress to attend a wedding. I ordered size small based on reviews. I’m 5’3 106lbs, smaller B bust size. It fit like a glove. The bottom did touch the ground even with my heels. But it wasn’t so bad I was tripping or anything. The dress was very comfortable and has a nice soft feel.

All the reviews are true. Wear this dress, and you'll get a ton of compliments. It was comfortable, looked great, and was just about the perfect wife of the father of the bride dress. I needed something that fit amazingly well, floor length, nice enough that I looked like I belonged with the father of the bride, but not so fancy I looked like I was trying to upstage more important people. This dress fit the bill nicely. My biggest headache with the dress was getting the creases from shipping out of it. I tried hanging it to let them fall out (it hung for two months and still had creases), getting it wet and hanging to dry, washing and drying on permanent press (it held up to that great, but it didn't fix the creases), and ironing on my iron's synthetic setting. I finally gave up the day before the wedding and took it to a dry cleaner - they worked some magic and get the wrinkles out of the dress. Another annoyance I had with the dress that I didn't see mentioned in other reviews is that it did not stay put. I lost count of how many times I had to adjust it over the course of the evening. It didn't really ride up, but it kept twisting so that the right side seam was about 4-6 inches rotated toward the front of the dress. It still looked okay from the front, but the center seam down the back looked weird curving off the right. So I had to keep grabbing both side seams and yanking it back around into the proper position. Thankfully it was an adjustment that was quick and not one I needed privacy for, but it would have been nice to not have to keep doing that! The fit was pretty much as I expected. I ordered a small and medium and ended up choosing the medium. It is form-fitting and stretches over your hips. The small was just a little too tight over my hips, but fit my top half better. The medium for nicely in the hips and was a little large up top, but not bad. The arm holes were a little big at the underarm, so my bra peeked out just the tiniest bit, but was barely noticeable with the nude color bra. I wore 2.5 inch heels and the dress was for length but not dragging on the ground. The slit came to mid thigh and did not at all feel inappropriate, especially with the ruffle covering the top of it. I wore Spanx shorts underneath, and only about half an inch peaked out at the top of the slit if you looked for it under the ruffle. I'm 5'7"and 133 pounds, 34C. I had some trouble figuring out how to accessorize this dress, but I found that a fancy pin at the top of the ruffle really added some interest and took the dress up a level. OMG.. this dress is the BEST. it may look like a mom style dress, but i wore this for a wedding and it made my body look so good and hugged my body but not too much but just enough, i got so many compliments and it made me look so much older than i was but it was a very nice dress and high quality too. it was for my mom but i wore it instead, im 4'11 and pretty skinny and have like an hourglass body, and it fit me perfectly. ... show more

The dress is beautiful and flattering. The material is so nice. It was shipped in basically a zip lock bag. The bag was ripped open and the dress was dirty. I was able to clean it but should not have happened. Please package it with more love !

This dress fit well. I'm 5'5", 132 lbs, 38D up top with 35" hips. There's enough stretch to the material where it easily zipped up the back. Good length with 2 1/2 - 3 inch heels. I wore it to a fundraising dinner and was very comfortable all night.

    • Flattering dress overall
I really liked the fit of this dress. It stretches so I bought a medium and a large to see which I liked more. Because of the stretch, the medium worked, but definitely hugged my body more really accentuating my curves so I opted for a slightly looser fit with the large (I'm 5'5 and about 155). The ruffle is flattering and the neck line is good for an older woman (no open back for me). The green is a beautiful color and a nice change from all the black dresses I have. The only thing I didn't like was how high the slit in the skirt was (hence the 4 stars). Although the ruffle hides it a bit when standing, I had to wrap the skirt over my legs when sitting otherwise it opens almost to my hip (don't wear thigh high stockings with this dress either). I tried to sew it up a bit, but not being a seamstress, it quickly came undone. ... show more
