I chose this beautiful dress to wear for my son's wedding. It was so classy and comfortable! I ordered a medium based on the size chart, but I think I may have been able to go with the small. It was just a little bit big on me, for reference I am normally a size 6 in misses. The length was perfect for me! I am 5'7" and wore about 2" heels, it was long enough and did not touch the floor. I love that it is machine washable. I washed it (on gentle) before wearing it and after the wedding, hung to dry, no problems at all. My only concern was the zipper, it gets a little tight passing the seams at the waist, but I was careful when zipping and it was fine. It's a very comfortable, classy, gorgeous dress. This is a big deal for me, because I am not a fan of dresses at all. My husband's job has sent him to some meetings, where there will be a gala. So I had to find something quick. This dress has quite a bit of stretch. It is so flattering as well with the ruching and ruffles. It is true to size. I typically wear an XL in most everything. I am 5'2" and 188lbs. With a 2-3 inch heel this dress will be just above ground level for me. It will need to be steamed to get some creasing out from packing, shouldn't be a problem though. ... show more

I think this would be a flattering dress for most. The XL was a little too snug for me around the hips and showed more curves and rolls than I’m comfortable with. To be fair, I don’t wear body shapers and that likely would help. For reference I’m 63, 5ft 7”, 180lbs, 40D. Also, as others have mentioned, it did seem to twist at the bottom during a short try on. This was my second attempt at buying a mother of the bride dress. The first ended up being too formal for the wedding style so I tried this. Im a bustier 5’6” 154 lbs so I ordered the large and its a great fit- not too tight that you can see every nook’n-cranny, but not too loose either. The wrinkles are weird and troublesome because of the polyester fabric but based on another reviewers recommendation i will have it pressed at a dry cleaners to get them removed. The dress is oddly boring when on (might be because the pink is about the same color as my skin!) but leaves room to accessorise. Ill be wearing a corsage and will take another reviewer’s advice and go for a brooch at the top of the waist-to-floor ruffle. With these additions I think its really going to be perfect. I am 5' 2" and weigh 122 lbs and I got the medium. The length was a little long, but the shoes I wore fixed that problem. I got so many compliments and felt great wearing it. The dress is machine washable!!

This dress was perfect for my daughters June wedding. The fabric is super stretchy and comfortable without being to thin but yet it was cool to wear in the supper. True to size. Fit like a glove. I’m 5’4 140lbs and the medium was perfect.
