Wow! The most flattering dress I've ever worn. I purchased this for my son's Airforce JROTC military ball that I was a chaperone for, so I needed a more formal gown. I don't usually like a fitted style, but this was just right. EVERYONE!!! was complementing me all night. I felt so comfortable in it, very confident. I am 5 ft and lost a few pounds, so about 110 now, 36C and size small was perfect. I did have to hem it as the length was a few inches long. That is all too common with my height, so I expected that. However, if you can use an iron, you can easily fix that with HeatnBond UltraHold Iron-On Adhesive also purchased here on Amazon. Since there are no layers to this dress, and the fabric is so easy to work with, it is easy to iron on the HeatnBond. It is ideal for this dress. Easily done and you don't need a sewing machine. I just might make it knee length for another event later and this dress would easily accommodate that with the slit.The vertical swag of fabric really adds a nice feminine flare. And the gathering fabric at the stomach is such a nice camouflage to hide the mama belly. The fabric is not too thin, just right to hide the panty line, there is no slip layer. I do advise that you iron or steam it so this fantastic dress looks it's best. I also purchased this dress in red, my son's school color. The fabric and fit was exactly the same, but we both decided we prefer the color blue for this event. My nude heals went so well with the color. Excellent quality for the price. I also ordered my clutch from Amazon, it is the Milisente Flower Evening Bag. Love that too!

The dress is gorgeous, well made, and I received many compliments on it. I felt it needed a little bling where the ruffles start so added a brooch. I’m 5’9 and wear a size 6-8. I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly. Highly recommend!

All the reviews are true. Wear this dress, and you'll get a ton of compliments. It was comfortable, looked great, and was just about the perfect wife of the father of the bride dress. I needed something that fit amazingly well, floor length, nice enough that I looked like I belonged with the father of the bride, but not so fancy I looked like I was trying to upstage more important people. This dress fit the bill nicely. My biggest headache with the dress was getting the creases from shipping out of it. I tried hanging it to let them fall out (it hung for two months and still had creases), getting it wet and hanging to dry, washing and drying on permanent press (it held up to that great, but it didn't fix the creases), and ironing on my iron's synthetic setting. I finally gave up the day before the wedding and took it to a dry cleaner - they worked some magic and get the wrinkles out of the dress. Another annoyance I had with the dress that I didn't see mentioned in other reviews is that it did not stay put. I lost count of how many times I had to adjust it over the course of the evening. It didn't really ride up, but it kept twisting so that the right side seam was about 4-6 inches rotated toward the front of the dress. It still looked okay from the front, but the center seam down the back looked weird curving off the right. So I had to keep grabbing both side seams and yanking it back around into the proper position. Thankfully it was an adjustment that was quick and not one I needed privacy for, but it would have been nice to not have to keep doing that! The fit was pretty much as I expected. I ordered a small and medium and ended up choosing the medium. It is form-fitting and stretches over your hips. The small was just a little too tight over my hips, but fit my top half better. The medium for nicely in the hips and was a little large up top, but not bad. The arm holes were a little big at the underarm, so my bra peeked out just the tiniest bit, but was barely noticeable with the nude color bra. I wore 2.5 inch heels and the dress was for length but not dragging on the ground. The slit came to mid thigh and did not at all feel inappropriate, especially with the ruffle covering the top of it. I wore Spanx shorts underneath, and only about half an inch peaked out at the top of the slit if you looked for it under the ruffle. I'm 5'7"and 133 pounds, 34C. I had some trouble figuring out how to accessorize this dress, but I found that a fancy pin at the top of the ruffle really added some interest and took the dress up a level. I added a coordinating necklace and called it good.

I bought this dress for a winter wedding. The color is so beautiful and somewhat unusual in its intensity, and the cut is very flattering. Since the fabric is stretchy, it hugs your body like a glove--and it is also a tad warmer than a silk dress would be. I felt very good in this dress and love how the color stands out in some of the pictures without upstaging anyone!

I picked this dress for an upcoming wedding because the style was unique and it’s a great price. I normally wear size 4 so I ordered the small. The manufacturer is in China so the sizing was off and it was too tight. I ordered the medium which fit much better. What’s interesting is that the design was mirrored for the different sizes. For the size small, the shoulder ruffle was on the left shoulder but the size medium dress had the ruffle on the right shoulder. I am returning the small but am not sure yet if I’m keeping the medium.

I am 5'7" and 137 lbs. I typically buy small but this was too small. The medium is snug in the hips but I think it's supposed to be that way. I kept the medium. The fabric does not feel cheap and I was very happy with how classy this dress looks. It definitely has the "wow" effect. Definitely worth buying but I would buy one size up.
