I’m only 5’2” and with my heels it drug the floor a little but only in the back. The slit on the side makes the dress look classy. Just buy this dress!! This dress is beautiful and the pink color is perfect for summer weddings. If you’re a mid size or plus size…make sure you get some shapewear. At the end of the night after wearing the dress about 8 hours I noticed some wear on the back part of the dress (buttock area). I would think you wouldn’t be able to wear this dress many times. I was searching for a dress for a red photo shoot. This dress was maroon of course, but that was okay. It has a good fit, would definitely need a girdle to produce the image that I wanted. For reference, I am 5 ft 5 in, 186 lb, and with a 36G bust, in the pictures. The dress did have a nice feel and stretch to it. As you can see, it. Hugs, the split is modest for the most part. I got so many compliments in this dress. It was extremely flattering on my body type. Athletic build. 5’5”, 137lbs. I’m usually kind of self conscious about my shoulders but this cut actually really accentuated what I work so hard for. The slit with the ruffles and a-line cut totally balanced me out. I can’t believe I finally found a dress that fits to my body perfectly. I have an awkward body since having my children and it was hard to find one that wouldn’t make me look bony or anorexic. It’s so a soft and sturdy material and does feel a bit heavy but that weight feels like a warm hug. My husband saw it and couldn’t keep his hands off me. Stating that he’s lucky to have such a sexy wife and plans to take me out on a fancy here soon. I never thought I could order a dress off of Amazon because I’m not a size O. I have a narrow upper back/shoulders with a bit of a mom stomach. However, after trying on what is available in the stores, I refuse to spend that much for dresses that would only require alterations anyway. My measurements fell between large and extra-large, so I ordered the extra large, figuring the price was affordable enough that I could always have it taken in and still save over the stores. It’s a thick fabric that has some stretch so it’s actually fits well enough that I don’t think I even need to get it altered. If you’re between sizes, I would recommend rounding up because it will drape better than if it’s too snug. The blue color is very pretty. Glad I took a chance! ... show more
