DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! I never have written a negative review in my life but I want to help others save their money. I spent $75 on 6 orders of this yarn and I might as well thrown the money in the trash. These “balls” of yarn all had a bunch of useless shreds in the middle of the ball to make the overall ball look bigger and heavier since they sell it by weight. The little bit of yarn that was actually useable, broke off constantly just from gentle hand knitting. You can see piles of shreds obviously meant to make the product look bigger and heavier than it actually was in the pictures. I also added a few photos of the constant tears and breaks. In the end, I didn’t have enough useable yarn to even make anything and I am going to have to spend a lot more money to start over 😩😩. Although, I will certainly NOT be buying from this unreliable seller ever again and will do much more research into reviews before ordering form another seller. That was my mistake as this was the only yarn I found that would come before Christmas and my mom really wanted me to make her a blanket for Christmas so I didn’t take time to read the reviews. If it was one or two of the orders that was faulty, I wouldn’t have been so harsh but the fact that every one of the six orders were at this quality, it was clear that the company did this intentionally to save them money and hoodwink the buyer. I gave it one star because you have to at least give one star and the color was what it was supposed to be.

This is wool roving and is great for needle felting. I'm not sure the bad reviewer knew the difference b/w roving and yarn and I'm even wondering if she wrote the review on the wrong seller and ordered from some other seller. I got two boxes and it is full and plentiful. There was no packing or extra stuff to make it weigh more, it was all wool. I got the blue and the kind of tan brown, great for animals and skin tones. It is rather fine and soft so it's not the perfect "core" wool for the base of a needle felting project, just takes more to get it to bind. But it's very high quality and soft and a really great price.

This is not wool roving. I started spinning it and it has a squeeky texture to it. Very unpleasant. I decided to test it further by boiling it. You can boil wool no problem. This tuned translucent and melted. It's plastic for the price of wool.

I bought three 1 lb. boxes of this roving. (white, black and brown) I recently got into needle felting and wanted a large quantity of a few colors to practice with and the price was right on these as others cost $30 - $50 for the same weight. I haven't gotten to the middle of the balls to see if they are full of shreds in the middle like another buyer said hers had, but as I am using it for needle felting and not knitting it wouldn't really be a problem even if there were. And as far as ripping? I haven't had a problem with that at all so far, if anything I've had a problem NOT getting it to rip when I'm trying to tear bits off for felting. I don't know anything about knitting and very little about felting, but for me personally, just buying it to needle felt, I haven't had any problem with it. It felts really well and tight and I am enjoying using it so far. Really the only complaint I have at all is that I would love to see a larger array of colors because I'd love to buy more of this roving in the 1 lb. size if they had more colors to choose from.

I should have known with the price tag honestly. Tried to spin with this and had no luck, doesn’t feel like it’s wool at all, pretty sure it’s some kind of synthetic material. I’m keeping it for loom weaving but definitely wouldn’t buy it again for spinning.

I was very disappointed in the quality of this roving. I should have bought roving from my usual sources for fiber, but the price attracted me. I may keep it since I will use it for felting and not spinning yarn.

This "natural" wool roving feels very rough, not soft at all. Also as soon as I opened it, I looked around and asked my kids if one of them farted. Nope, it was the wool. Literally smells like someone ate 5 jars of garlic and farted into the bag. I have never sealed a package up so fast. Thanks but no thanks.
