These are made of a fabric like Lyocel. Very soft, bright fun colors, made to be dried at low temperatures. Very absorbant. I have only used these for a short time, but I like them very much. I recommend these hand towels. As long as you don't mind drying them at a lower temperature. The tags are a bit confusing if you don't know what Lyocel or Tencel fabric is. It's fabric made from Bamboo. It's not very stretchy, but is very soft. Very fluffy, these towels look extra floofy, absorb water very well and come in bright, fun colors. EDITED: Although it says not to put the towels in the dryer, I thought, what the heck! I'm going to try it and see how they come out looking! They came out of the dryer looking GREAT!!! So that's no worry!! As long as you're good with the size (and I saw after the fact that they offer more than one size) from my experience, you're good to go with these lovely colored towels!! THANK YOU!! These are very thin, and not as big as normal size hand towels (see 1st photo). Also, the tag says not to tumble dry (see 2nd photo). Who in the world has ever heard of towels you're not supposed to put in the dryer?? But even they aren't what I had hoped for, I'm keeping them because I really like the colors. EDIT: To their credit, they offered a full refund, which I very much appreciate. ... show more

The colors are lovely, and they are very soft. However, if, like me, you consider towels a utilitarian household item which should be machine washable and dryable, then these are NOT for you. It never occurred to me to read the care label, because, you know, they're towels; machine drying is a fundamental element of sanitizing. So I washed/dried on medium, as I do with all new linens. There was nothing in the washer but the towels. They ran like pantyhose in 1985--not the colors, but they are so badly snagged--all of them, all over--as to be unusable. They are also very narrow--but if you want to wash your hand towels like they were cashmere sweaters, then go for it. ... show more

I bought for Easter spring colors for my bathroom. I liked the size to fold over my towel rings. Hand towels are to big. I wanted 2 of each color so I bought 2 sets. They had a better deal if you bought 2 at the same time.
